    Tri Goode is a distinguished IT leader with over 35 years of experience across diverse sectors, including telecommunications, financial services, and technology. Currently retired, Tri is focusing on personal projects and continued contributions to help others. Her career is marked by a profound commitment to innovation, leadership, and process improvement.

    Tri began her career in the Systems Engineer Development (SED) program at EDS in 1985, where she honed her skills in application programming and production support. Her journey through various roles, including Systems Engineer, Advanced Systems Engineer, Supervisor, Manager, and Project Control Manager, provided her with a comprehensive understanding of both technical and managerial aspects of IT operations. Over 14 years at EDS, Tri managed multiple teams and projects, from internal system enhancements to WAN solutions, establishing a strong foundation for her future endeavors.

    In 1999, Tri transitioned to WorldCom (later Verizon Business), where she managed a team of Project Managers responsible for Wide Area Network (WAN) projects. Her role involved creating career progression documentation, overseeing project executions, and documenting processes for ISO 9001 certification. This period cemented her expertise in project management and process optimization.


    Joining Citi in 2006, Tri’s career reached new heights, from project management to management. As an IT Manager, she navigated through roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in her position as Senior Vice President. Tri’s most significant contributions came during her time at Citi, where she held various leadership positions, including IT Manager and Senior Vice President. In these roles, she managed global programs and projects involving end-of-vendor support products and services and assisted some of her team members with their projects. Her leadership extended to mentoring Project Managers, fostering an environment of continuous professional growth through tailored coaching and performance reviews. Her tenure at Citi was characterized by her leadership in overseeing global programs, migrating services to new providers, and managing data services projects. Tri’s role extended beyond project management to include people management, coaching, and strategic oversight. Her administrative duties involved performance reviews, goal setting, and fostering team development.

    Tri’s contributions to diversity and community initiatives are noteworthy. She was actively involved in several committees, including the NAM Diversity Steering Committee and the Colwell Culture Committee, where she led efforts to enhance workplace diversity and foster team cohesion. As a founding member of the eMentoring Development Program and a Voice of the Employee Champion, Tri has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring and employee engagement.

    Throughout her career, Tri has been recognized for her ability to lead complex projects and drive process improvements. Her expertise spans various areas, including project management, program management, vendor management, and IT strategy. She is particularly skilled in managing third-party connectivity. Her work on global deployment projects, including the implementation of IBM tools and forensics solutions, showcases her ability to handle large-scale, high-impact initiatives.

    Tri holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Management from Spring Hill College. Her professional journey reflects a deep dedication to excellence, innovation, and leadership. Tri has transitioned to a new chapter in her life: retirement. Now her focus is on writing books to help others spiritually, personally, and professionally. She continues serving as a member of her church’s Board, co-leading the Singles Ministry, and teaching.
