“Amare Extrema”

Leor Grebler has built his career around a sustained interest in how emerging technologies can be made useful, practical, and human-centered. Over more than two decades, he has worked across artificial intelligence, voice technology, IoT, enterprise software, and workforce experience, contributing to products and initiatives that aim to solve real problems. Guided by the motto “Amare Extrema,” he brings curiosity, care, and a strong sense of purpose to both technical and strategic work.

His background in aerospace engineering gave him an early foundation in systems thinking, analytical problem-solving, and disciplined execution. After earning his degree from Carleton University, he continued his development through project management studies at Ryerson University. Together, these experiences helped shape an approach that combines technical rigor with practical business thinking.

Early in his career, Leor worked in customer-facing and technically complex roles that strengthened his ability to bridge technical detail and business needs. In consulting, account leadership, and solution-oriented roles, including work with organizations such as IBM, he developed a reputation for listening carefully, simplifying complex concepts, and helping teams move toward workable outcomes. These experiences also laid the foundation for his later leadership in startups and product management.

A major turning point in his career came with the co-founding of UCIC, the company behind Ubi, an early consumer voice-interactive computer. Before voice interfaces became widely adopted, he and his co-founders explored how more natural, hands-free interaction with technology might fit into daily life. During that period, the company attracted early market attention, surpassed its Kickstarter goal, secured angel investment, and formed partnerships in the AI and voice technology space. The experience reflected Leor’s interest in identifying emerging patterns early and helping translate them into real products.

He later brought that same interest in human-technology interaction into enterprise product work at Genesys. As Principal Product Manager, he has contributed to the development of Agent Copilot, an AI-enabled tool designed to support contact center agents with real-time assistance. His work has focused on balancing technical capability with usability, with an emphasis on building systems that are both effective and practical for the people using them. His earlier work in voice transcription, employee experience, and speech analytics reflects a similar pattern: applying technology in ways that support better decisions and better work.

Across roles at organizations including Clearpath Robotics, Quanser, FundingPortal, and other early-stage ventures, Leor has worked in a range of environments where adaptability and practical innovation were important. These experiences exposed him to fields including robotics, engineering education, and software development, and helped build his ability to contribute across strategy, product direction, and execution.

His work also extends into research and intellectual property. His academic publications in areas such as speaker differentiation and audio classification reflect a strong technical interest in machine learning and signal processing. His patents, including work related to emotion-based recommendations in contact centers and voice-operated computing systems, reflect a hands-on commitment to advancing products and ideas in these fields.

Leor also brings an international perspective shaped by experience in both Canada and Israel and by work across different markets and teams. Fluent in English and Hebrew, he has often worked at the intersection of technology, business, and user experience, with an appreciation for how different contexts shape adoption, communication, and product design.

Outside of formal roles, he has also supported knowledge-sharing and community-building in the technology sector. As founder of the Toronto chapter of the Ubiquitous Voice Society, he created a space for people interested in voice technology to exchange ideas and learn from one another. This effort reflects his belief that innovation is often strengthened through collaboration and open discussion.

Today, Leor continues to focus on helping organizations and teams navigate technological change thoughtfully and effectively. His experience spans entrepreneurship, enterprise product leadership, and applied innovation, and he brings a practical perspective shaped by both experimentation and execution. As he expands into advisory and board work, he offers a combination of technical depth, product judgment, and long-term interest in how technology can better serve people.

Knowledge
His background includes artificial intelligence, speech recognition, product management, robotics, and startup development. Over time, he has built a broad base of experience through hands-on work, research, and continued learning. He is particularly strong at connecting technical concepts to practical use cases and business needs.

Strategic
Leor’s strategic strength lies in identifying promising ideas early and helping turn them into realistic, workable initiatives. He is comfortable moving between long-term vision and day-to-day execution, with a focus on sustainable progress rather than novelty alone.
