At the Federal Aviation Administration’s NextGen Directorate, Aviation Weather Division, Michelle served as the primary point of contact for contractual matters supporting aviation-weather research and research-to-operations activities. She advised meteorology, human-factors, and engineering subject-matter experts on FAA Acquisition Management System requirements and appropriate contracting strategies, helping ensure that suitable contractual vehicles and funding were available to support research, testing, and transition efforts.
