Kurtis Moore is a results-driven executive and dynamic healthcare leader who has spent over two decades transforming the medical imaging industry from the inside out. Known for his clear-headed decision-making, unwavering integrity, and deep-rooted passion for service, Kurtis has charted a career defined not only by what he has accomplished but by how he has done it—with authenticity, humility, and relentless dedication. His personal motto, “We’re here to make good things happen for other people,” is not just a statement—it is the guiding principle of his leadership philosophy.
From his earliest days as a CT/Radiological Technologist to his tenure as Chief Operations Officer at two significant imaging centers, Kurtis has consistently leveraged emotional intelligence and operational acumen to align organizations with their strategic visions. At every stage, he has built a reputation as a thoughtful change agent, equally adept at setting priorities from the C-suite as he is stepping in alongside frontline staff when needed. His career is a testament to the power of showing up, of being present, and of leading with both head and heart.
Kurtis began his healthcare career in the early 2000s after earning his Associate of Science in Radiological Science from Boise State University. He quickly distinguished himself for his technical proficiency and ability to build trust with patients and colleagues alike. His work as a technologist was more than just performing procedures—it was about understanding people, solving complex challenges, and ensuring that each patient experience was handled with care and precision. This foundation proved invaluable as he took on more expansive roles within the industry.
At Imaging Center of Idaho, Kurtis rose from CT Technologist to Lead Technologist, and ultimately to Chief Operations Officer. Each promotion marked a new chapter of professional growth, but also a deepening commitment to organizational excellence. As COO, Kurtis navigated the organization through one of its most turbulent periods, including financial constraints and the sweeping impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. His leadership was a stabilizing force during uncertain times—anchored in sound fiscal management, cross-departmental collaboration, and a resolute belief in putting people first.
One of Kurtis’s most remarkable achievements was overseeing the expansion of the Imaging Center’s service network, taking on the review of x-rays and ultrasounds for 28 additional facilities. These included partnerships with correctional facilities and rural hospitals, reflecting not only his logistical expertise but his willingness to extend quality care to underserved communities. This initiative did more than grow the bottom line—it expanded the center’s mission and influence across the region.
Following the acquisition of the Imaging Center by Teton Radiology, Kurtis transitioned seamlessly into the role of Chief Operations Officer once again, lending his expertise to guide the newly integrated organization. Despite the eventual dissolution of his role due to restructuring, Kurtis left behind a legacy of leadership and operational rigor that continues to shape the culture and workflows of the facility today. His departure, as noted by numerous colleagues and medical professionals, was marked with deep respect and a shared acknowledgment of his critical contributions.
Throughout his career, Kurtis has demonstrated a rare blend of strategic vision and roll-up-your-sleeves execution. He has overseen everything from capital budgeting and contract negotiations to equipment purchasing and staff development. His holistic understanding of healthcare operations has been instrumental in driving both growth and sustainability, allowing his teams to operate with greater agility and focus. Kurtis understands that true leadership isn’t about control—it’s about empowerment, structure, and meaningful communication.
In addition to his professional roles, Kurtis has served as Chairman of the Business Owners Association, bringing his collaborative mindset and boardroom insight to a broader business community. He is also an active member of national industry organizations, including the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). These affiliations speak to his ongoing commitment to learning, sharing knowledge, and uplifting the standards of his profession.
Outside of the workplace, Kurtis is a man of introspection and integrity. He thrives in the outdoors and seeks out activities that challenge him mentally and physically. His recent interest in developing as a public speaker stems from a desire not only to share his knowledge but to continue growing personally—proof that leadership is never a finished journey, but an evolving path. Though he has not yet stepped onto the stage at conferences, his insights, grounded in real-world experience, are rich with value and inspiration.
Kurtis Moore is now seeking opportunities to serve on boards where he can apply his expertise, expand his impact, and learn from diverse perspectives. He believes strongly that the next chapter of his career is about sharing what he has learned while remaining open to what he has yet to discover. For any organization seeking a strategic leader with heart, grit, and a proven track record in transforming complex healthcare environments, Kurtis brings a rare and valuable perspective.
