Most recently, Todd expanded his leadership experience through the acquisition of an Express Employment Professionals franchise serving southeastern Wisconsin. As Owner and Managing Partner, he led business strategy, financial performance, sales growth, recruiting operations, and organizational development. Within seven months, he increased revenue by approximately 70 percent while significantly improving profitability through disciplined commercial execution and scalable business development processes. Following a successful family succession, Todd continues to serve as a strategic advisor, helping position the business for continued long-term growth.
Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Todd served as Vice President of U.S. Distribution and U.S. Chemical for Diversey–Solenis, where he led the integration of two significant commercial organizations following Solenis’ acquisition of Diversey. Responsible for a commercial business exceeding $200 million in annual revenue, he unified leadership teams, streamlined organizational structures, implemented Commercial Excellence disciplines, strengthened national distributor partnerships, improved forecasting discipline, expanded private-label growth strategies, and established a culture of commercial accountability centered on measurable execution. His leadership reversed years of declining sales performance, delivering more than six percent annual sales growth while improving organizational alignment and strengthening customer relationships across multiple market segments.
Earlier, as Vice President and General Manager of U.S. Chemical, Todd held full P&L responsibility for a $75 million business recognized as one of North America’s largest private-label warewash and laundry chemical manufacturers. During his tenure, he successfully navigated the unprecedented challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining customer service, protecting business continuity, and strengthening profitability through pricing optimization, portfolio rationalization, process improvement, and commercial transformation. He also strengthened Commercial Excellence through Salesforce CRM, Miller Heiman sales methodology, disciplined sales management, Gallup engagement practices, and leadership development initiatives that created scalable commercial capabilities and succession pipelines across the organization.
Todd’s ability to lead transformational initiatives extends well beyond commercial operations. During Diversey’s acquisition of Wypetech, he was selected to lead one of the organization’s most significant integration efforts while simultaneously maintaining responsibility for U.S. Chemical. Coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, finance, IT, marketing, treasury, and manufacturing, he successfully quadrupled production capacity, dramatically reduced product backlogs during the height of the pandemic, and positioned the facility as a critical manufacturing asset supporting Diversey’s successful IPO preparation. These accomplishments highlight his ability to balance strategic oversight with detailed operational execution while producing measurable business outcomes under extraordinary circumstances.
Todd’s executive career also includes leadership positions with SC Johnson, JohnsonDiversey, Sealed Air, and BASF, where he advanced from chemical engineering and manufacturing leadership into executive commercial and operational management. Along the way, he developed national distribution strategies that generated more than $20 million in new revenue, expanded private-label businesses, built high-performing sales organizations, established strategic partnerships across North America, Europe, and Australia, and successfully led organizations through periods of rapid expansion and organizational change. His engineering background, combined with an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, provides a rare combination of technical depth, financial acumen, and executive leadership.
Beyond executive leadership, Todd has consistently invested in serving his profession and community.
