IMPowerU represents the culmination of his decades-long journey across consulting, executive leadership, and transformation management. The company provides a holistic, people-first approach to business improvement by integrating strategic consulting, human-centered operating systems, and expert coaching. Before launching IMPowerU, Jerry held several senior executive roles across Fortune 500 companies and global consultancies. As Tax Principal in KPMG’s Value Chain Management group, he collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale, analytics-driven transformations that streamlined business models to optimize innovation and growth in the face of shifting global regulatory, technological and economic disruption, and ever increasing changes in customer demographics and the expectations of communities and shareholders for more sustainable business practices. He was known for bringing together tax, finance, and operations to create alignment between strategy and execution, enabling measurable performance improvements across client organizations.
Earlier in his career, Jerry served as Senior Vice President of Tax and Global Business at Ingram Micro, where he managed a 50-person global tax team across 34 countries. Beyond tax leadership, he was instrumental in crafting solutions for cross-border customer engagements and helped reengineer global business processes to better serve an increasingly interconnected marketplace. His time at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen further sharpened his expertise in international tax planning, supply chain transformation, and cross-border consulting, with high-impact assignments spanning Zurich, Silicon Valley, and beyond.
What sets Jerry apart is his transformative mindset. While adept in strategy and systems, he came to realize that the most enduring change happens at the human level. His executive experience taught him that innovation and performance aren’t just products of structural change—they’re born from a workforce that feels supported in health, purpose, and growth. Jerry holds a JD from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and a BA in Criminal Justice from Lindenwood University. He has further refined his leadership approach through executive programs at Stanford University and the University of California, Irvine.
