Currently serving as the County Manager for Upson County, Georgia, a position he has held since 2018, Tinsley oversees the coordination and management of all county government operations. He led the rewrite of the county’s Comprehensive Plan, successfully negotiated intergovernmental agreements for the implementation of key sales tax revenues, and managed the development of the county’s Strategic Plan and Project Management Dashboard. Jason’s leadership has also been pivotal in overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, including the construction of a 53,000-square-foot Judicial Center, ensuring that these projects are completed on time and within budget.

He actively participates in coaching youth sports and spends his free time with his family on the Georgia coast. Jason and his wife, Kaylyn, reside in Thomaston, Georgia, with their four children: Jackson (17), Joel (15), Jensen (13), and Anne (2).
