Most recently, Scott served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Astadia, where he orchestrated one of the technology industry’s most impressive business turnarounds. After leading a management buyout, he completely restructured the organization, replaced the executive leadership team, repositioned the company’s service portfolio, expanded its mainframe modernization capabilities, and drove consistent annual growth exceeding 25 percent. Under his leadership, Astadia became recognized as a market leader in cloud migration and modernization, secured Microsoft’s Mainframe to Azure Partner of the Year Award, earned industry recognition as one of the premier modernization firms globally, and was ultimately acquired by Amdocs in 2023. Scott then successfully led the integration into Amdocs before transitioning into his current portfolio of executive chairman roles.
Prior to Astadia, Scott served as Chairman and CEO of SeeWhy Software, where he transformed an emerging analytics platform into one of the leading Software-as-a-Service providers focused on real-time e-commerce remarketing. His strategic vision shifted the company’s focus toward high-return SaaS applications, established dozens of ecosystem partnerships, attracted enterprise clients including Staples, Sears, and Adidas, and ultimately resulted in the company’s successful acquisition by SAP. His ability to identify emerging technology trends before they reached mainstream adoption positioned SeeWhy as an industry innovator in real-time analytics and digital commerce.
Earlier in his executive career, Scott served as President and CEO of Action Engine, where he revitalized the business through a comprehensive turnaround strategy focused on leadership, product innovation, offshore development, and market positioning. Under his direction, Action Engine became a recognized leader in mobile software, wireless services, and mobile advertising, securing partnerships with organizations such as AOL, MySpace, TiVo, MSNBC, Time Inc., and The Wall Street Journal. His visionary leadership earned him the prestigious Wireless Services Visionary Award and culminated in the successful sale of the company following substantial venture capital investment and accelerated revenue growth.
Scott’s executive foundation was built during influential leadership positions with organizations including Unisys, ePresence, Gentia Software, Actium Corporation, and Burroughs Corporation. Throughout these roles, he repeatedly demonstrated an exceptional ability to reposition businesses, lead mergers and acquisitions, build high-performing sales organizations, launch innovative products, and develop market-leading go-to-market strategies. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and later completed his MBA in General Management at Baldwin Wallace University.
