As the Founder and CEO of Radar Consulting Inc., Richard has dedicated much of his career to helping organizations solve complex business challenges. Through his consulting practice, he has advised executive teams, founders, investors, and boards on strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, operational improvement, leadership development, and business transformation. His ability to quickly identify opportunities for growth while aligning people, processes, and financial objectives has made him a trusted advisor to organizations seeking sustainable success. Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit has been a defining characteristic throughout his career. One of his most notable accomplishments was founding Pluribus Technologies Corporation, an innovative company designed to acquire and scale profitable B2B software businesses. Under his leadership, Pluribus successfully raised $25 million in equity capital and secured an additional $25 million in acquisition financing. Over a five-year period, the company acquired thirteen businesses operating across eLearning, eCommerce, HealthTech, and digital enablement sectors. Through disciplined execution and strategic leadership, Richard grew the organization to $38 million in revenue and $4 million in EBITDA. His leadership culminated in taking the company public through a reverse takeover on the TSX Venture Exchange and raising an additional $23.5 million in equity financing at a valuation of approximately $90 million.
Throughout his career, Richard has demonstrated a remarkable ability to build and scale technology-focused organizations. His leadership experience with Symbility Solutions represents one of the most impactful chapters of his professional journey. As President of Symbility Property, he helped grow revenue from approximately $700,000 to $8 million. Later, as Executive Vice President of International Operations, he successfully expanded the company’s presence into the United Kingdom, Germany, and South Africa, growing international revenue from zero to $5 million annually. He also led the integration of a major acquisition that doubled company revenue and strengthened market position. As CEO of Symbility Health, he further demonstrated his growth leadership by increasing annual revenue from $2.5 million to $6 million.
Richard’s expertise extends well beyond growth initiatives. Throughout his career, he has repeatedly been called upon to lead organizations through complex restructurings, turnarounds, and transformational periods. During his tenure as Chief Financial Officer of Systech Retail Solutions, he successfully guided the company through both Chapter 11 and CCAA proceedings. He secured critical debtor-in-possession financing, orchestrated major operational restructuring efforts, and repositioned the company around its software business. Through disciplined financial leadership and strategic decision-making, he helped create a profitable enterprise that ultimately sold for $30 million, delivering meaningful value to shareholders and stakeholders alike.
His ability to navigate challenging business environments was developed early in his career through his work with Financial Task Force Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President. In this role, Richard acted as a CFO and advisor to more than fifteen companies operating across financial services, technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, consumer products, and education sectors. Working with organizations facing growth opportunities, restructuring requirements, financing challenges, and strategic transitions, he developed an exceptional understanding of corporate finance, operational management, and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, Richard served as Chief Executive Officer of a client in the telco space, where he was engaged by the founder to accelerate growth within a profitable telecommunications company. Drawing upon his extensive operational and leadership experience, he implemented a growth-focused culture while restructuring key business functions to improve efficiency and accountability. He reorganized sales teams, enhanced channel partnerships, streamlined operations, introduced performance metrics, and mentored senior leaders throughout the organization.
