Kristy Berry: Building Exceptional Organizations Through Exceptional Experiences

Published on:

Kristy Berry is an accomplished enterprise growth and operations executive whose nearly three-decade career has been defined by building, scaling, stabilizing, and transforming complex organizations. A former Chief Executive Officer, longtime Chief Operating Officer, board member, and strategic advisor to investors and senior leadership teams, Kristy has developed a reputation for combining operational discipline with a deeply human approach to leadership. Her career has centered primarily on healthcare, wellness, performance medicine, and longevity, yet the principles behind her success extend well beyond any single industry: create extraordinary client experiences, develop high-performing teams, build scalable operating systems, and translate ambitious strategy into measurable enterprise value.

Kristy’s leadership journey is closely connected to the evolution of Cenegenics, where she spent more than two decades helping transform an emerging healthcare concept into a nationally and internationally recognized premium health and longevity platform. Beginning in operations and steadily expanding her responsibilities, she became an increasingly central figure in the organization’s growth, ultimately serving as President and Chief Operating Officer before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2020. Her progression reflected not only her ability to manage increasingly complex operations, but also her capacity to see an organization holistically—connecting people, finance, brand, customer experience, technology, clinical delivery, and commercial strategy into one coordinated enterprise system.

As COO, Kristy helped guide Cenegenics from a single-clinic business into a multi-site organization spanning dozens of locations and international markets. She created and strengthened many of the operating frameworks necessary for sustainable scale, including financial tracking systems, staffing protocols, physician education programs, performance metrics, standardized procedures, forecasting disciplines, leadership development programs, and customer service standards. Throughout that expansion, she remained focused on protecting the premium client experience that differentiated the organization while ensuring the business infrastructure could support continued growth.

Her leadership has been equally notable in periods of challenge and transformation. Kristy has successfully navigated volatile market conditions, organizational restructuring, declining customer volumes, cost pressures, and the demands associated with professionalizing founder-led businesses. At one point, she helped reverse a significant decline in client volume by redesigning the customer journey and strengthening both commercial and operational execution. Later, as CEO, she led enterprise-wide restructuring and cost optimization initiatives that generated multi-million-dollar annualized savings while helping restore EBITDA-positive performance and strengthening the organization’s foundation for renewed growth.

Commercial transformation has been another defining dimension of Kristy’s career. Rather than viewing growth as simply a sales function, she has consistently approached revenue creation as an integrated enterprise discipline involving demand generation, qualification, scheduling, conversion, retention, monetization, customer lifetime value, and brand trust. She rebuilt and modernized the organization’s revenue operations infrastructure to create a more data-driven and coordinated growth engine. Her experience also includes product development and commercialization, including initiatives that produced seven-figure revenue in their first year, demonstrating her ability to connect market opportunity with execution, positioning, and disciplined financial management.

Kristy brings substantial financial and capital leadership experience to both executive and board environments. She has overseen enterprise P&Ls exceeding $50 million and has been responsible for revenue performance, SG&A management, workforce planning, operating leverage, resource allocation, and long-range financial strategy. As CEO, she worked closely with boards, private equity stakeholders, and investors on strategic priorities, financial performance, capital deployment, and enterprise value creation. She also helped lead institutional fundraising efforts totaling more than $15 million, giving her practical experience at the intersection of operating performance, governance, investor expectations, and growth capital.

International expansion has further shaped Kristy’s leadership perspective. Over the course of her career, she has supported and overseen operations and business relationships across numerous international markets, with exposure spanning Mexico, South America, Portugal, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and other global regions. Her responsibilities have included navigating the complexities of physician relationships, local operations, training, technology infrastructure, regulatory considerations, service consistency, and market expansion. More recently, she helped architect a capital-efficient licensing and operating partnership model designed to provide a scalable blueprint for growth in international markets, including the Gulf region.

Beyond operational execution, Kristy has played a meaningful role in building industry credibility and category authority. She pioneered initiatives designed to strengthen the visibility and professional standing of age-management and performance medicine, including the development of an annual medical conference that secured Category 1 continuing medical education accreditation. By bringing together respected physicians, educational programming, sponsorships, workshops, and thought leadership, she helped position the organization not simply as a service provider but as a contributor to the broader advancement of the field. Her experience speaking throughout her career further reflects her ability to communicate complex business and leadership concepts to diverse audiences.

Kristy’s leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that exceptional brands are ultimately created through exceptional experiences. She believes organizations earn loyalty not only through their products and services, but through the way clients, employees, physicians, partners, investors, and communities experience the organization. That philosophy has influenced how she approaches organizational design, leadership development, culture, customer experience, and brand stewardship. She has consistently invested in training, mentorship, career development, accountability systems, recognition programs, and opportunities for employees to grow into larger leadership responsibilities.

Today, Kristy brings a particularly valuable perspective to companies navigating growth, turnaround, operational transformation, commercialization, or geographic expansion. Her experience makes her especially relevant to healthcare and wellness organizations, premium consumer and service businesses, hospitality and luxury brands, multi-site enterprises, and private-equity-backed companies. She is equally comfortable engaging at the strategic board level and working alongside management teams to understand the operational realities behind performance. Her strength lies in helping organizations identify what must be preserved, what must change, and what infrastructure must be built to reach the next stage of enterprise maturity.

Kristy’s broader interests reflect the same commitment to developing people and creating opportunity that has shaped her executive career. She is passionate about helping women succeed and thrive and has been actively involved in women’s and girls’ sports, including service as Girls Athletic Director for Cambridge Youth Lacrosse. She has also participated in executive peer leadership through Vistage, demonstrating her continued commitment to learning, exchanging ideas with fellow executives, and strengthening leadership through shared experience. For Kristy, leadership is ultimately about creating sustainable impact—building organizations that perform better while enabling the people within them to grow, contribute, and succeed.

As she expands her board and advisory work, Kristy offers organizations a rare combination of CEO-level leadership, operational depth, financial discipline, commercial growth expertise, private equity experience, global perspective, and customer-centric thinking. Her career reflects a consistent pattern: build, scale, stabilize, modernize, and re-accelerate. Whether advising a healthcare company preparing for its next stage of growth, a premium service brand seeking stronger operating leverage, or a private-equity-backed business undergoing transformation, Kristy brings the practical judgment of an experienced operator and the strategic perspective of a leader who has spent decades creating durable enterprise value.
