Ken Wuestenfeld is an accomplished C-suite executive, board advisor, investor, educator, and food and beverage industry leader with more than 35 years of experience driving growth across Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurial ventures, and emerging businesses. Known for his ability to build high-performing teams, develop practical growth strategies, and deliver measurable financial results, Ken has earned a reputation as a trusted business advisor who brings both operational depth and strategic perspective to the organizations he serves.

Ken’s career has been defined by a consistent ability to step into complex business environments and create clarity, momentum, and value. His expertise spans strategic planning, organizational development, sales leadership, management, research and development, P&L oversight, budgeting, customer strategy, and team building. Across each phase of his career, he has demonstrated a strong command of both top-line growth and bottom-line performance, helping companies strengthen their market position while building cultures rooted in accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.

Most recently, Ken has continued to contribute his experience as an investor and advisor to growth-oriented ventures. Through 11Tribes Ventures, he supports founders by helping identify promising startup companies aligned with the firm’s mission. As a Board Advisor and investor relations leader for NuCelium, he works closely with executive leadership and the investment community to support capital raising, market strategy, and business expansion. His advisory work reflects the same disciplined, growth-focused approach that shaped his corporate leadership career.

Prior to his advisory and investment work, Ken served for more than eleven years as Vice President of Sales and Technical Services for Fuchs North America, a global food ingredient company. In this role, he oversaw Sales, Marketing, Research and Development, and Regulatory Compliance while contributing to annual operating plans and long-term strategic direction. During his tenure, the business doubled in sales and delivered continuous EBIT growth. He also played a leading role in opening the company’s first Technical Center in Shanghai, China, supporting expansion across Asia-Pacific markets and strengthening Fuchs’ global customer capabilities.

Ken also held senior leadership roles with ConAgra Foods, where he made a significant impact across both the Gilroy Foods & Flavors and Lamb Weston divisions. As Vice President of Sales for Gilroy Foods & Flavors, he led a $500 million ingredient business, reorganized the sales structure, strengthened strategic customer plans, and helped drive significant profitability improvement. His leadership included finalizing a record $100 million customer agreement and establishing international growth opportunities through a strategic alliance with Hela International.

As Vice President and General Manager of ConAgra’s Lamb Weston Handheld Food Group, Ken managed a $100 million-plus business with responsibility across manufacturing, finance, marketing, sales, operations, and full P&L performance. By emphasizing product quality, operating efficiency, customer satisfaction, and disciplined capital investment, he helped increase sales by 26 percent, grow gross margin by 41 percent, and improve profitability by 40 percent. These results demonstrated his ability to lead as both a strategist and operator, connecting vision with execution.

Ken’s entrepreneurial experience further strengthens his board and advisory value. As President and CEO of an AlphaGraphics Printshops franchise, he acquired and transformed an underperforming business into a highly profitable operation, growing annual revenue to more than $1.7 million and earning recognition as a top worldwide performer. This experience gave him firsthand insight into ownership, cash flow management, profit planning, capital budgeting, talent development, customer acquisition, and the realities of scaling a business from the ground level.

Earlier in his career, Ken built a strong foundation in sales, marketing, national accounts, and general management through leadership roles with Sara Lee Bakery, Pepsi-Cola USA, and Carnation Company. These Fortune 500 experiences gave him responsibility for large regional and national businesses, major customer relationships, broker networks, sales organizations, and capital budgets. From his early recognition as a high-potential manager to his advancement into executive leadership, Ken consistently earned greater responsibility by delivering results and developing the people around him.

In addition to his corporate and advisory work, Ken is deeply committed to mentorship, education, and community service. He has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Arizona Eller College of Management, teaching business management courses that connect classroom learning to real-world business leadership. He has also mentored students through the Wildcat Mentor Society and contributed to the University of Arizona Eller College Board of Visitors, reflecting his belief in preparing the next generation of business leaders.

Ken’s service extends beyond education into nonprofit and community leadership. He serves on the Executive Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona and has served as Director of the Kyle Franks Foundation, supporting children, families, education, addiction awareness, and community well-being. These roles reflect a personal commitment to giving back, supporting meaningful causes, and using leadership experience to strengthen both organizations and communities.

Throughout his career, Ken has also been active in industry associations and professional forums, including SNAC International and the Research Chefs Association. He has presented at industry-related events for SNAC International, PepsiCo, ConAgra Foods, and venture capital groups, sharing insights on growth, leadership, customer strategy, innovation, and food industry development. His international exposure across China, Germany, Malaysia, and Singapore further enhances his ability to advise companies operating in increasingly global and competitive markets.
