Audrey Dorfman is an award-winning global marketing executive with over 18 years of experience leading brand transformation, product innovation, and culturally resonant marketing across top-tier consumer brands. As the current Vice President and Global Head of Marketing at CeraVe, part of the L’Oréal Group, Audrey has been the driving force behind one of the most remarkable growth stories in skincare, expanding the brand from €440 million to over €2 billion in just four years. Under her leadership, CeraVe has become the number one skincare brand in the United States and the fifth largest globally across all retail channels.

Audrey’s career is defined by her ability to blend strategy with creativity, consistently delivering disruptive marketing campaigns that resonate across generations. She led the 2024 “Michael CeraVe” Super Bowl campaign, which generated over 6 billion earned media impressions and received more than 50 international marketing awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD Pencils, Grand Clios, One Show Awards, and the Super Clio. The campaign not only captivated audiences worldwide but also helped the brand achieve its highest sales figures in U.S. history.

Before joining CeraVe, Audrey held leadership roles at Dermablend, Yes To, and Pop Secret, where she modernized brand positioning, expanded product pipelines, and launched breakthrough innovations. At Dermablend, she repositioned the brand as the number one dermatologist-recommended coverage brand, led the brand’s first PETA certification, and launched Cover Care Concealer—its most successful product to date. At Yes To, Audrey expanded the brand into three new categories, earning Target and Ulta’s Vendor of the Year awards. Earlier in her career at Pop Secret, she helped the brand rise to number one in market share and spearheaded award-winning digital campaigns.

Audrey has extensive experience scaling brands globally. She has led product launches in over 70 countries and grown international sales from 15% to more than 40% of CeraVe’s total business while maintaining double-digit growth in North America. She has a deep understanding of international operations, having led efforts to expand manufacturing in China, Mexico, and India to reduce costs and boost operating profit.

In addition to her marketing expertise, Audrey is known for her people-first leadership. She has built and transformed teams across organizations, quadrupling team size at CeraVe and earning top marks in leadership effectiveness, team engagement, and psychological safety. In 2024, she was named a Top 50 CMO by Campaign US, further validating her ability to drive both business and team success.

A graduate of the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Audrey holds an MBA in Global Management with a focus on marketing. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Marketing from James Madison University. Her academic background includes international study programs in Paris, Prague, and Antwerp, helping to shape her global perspective and cultural fluency. Audrey is also conversational in French and has lived in 12 cities across North America and Europe.

Outside of her professional life, Audrey is a devoted mother, avid traveler, and cultural enthusiast. She enjoys discovering new cuisines, exploring different cultures, and spending quality time with her young son. One of her fondest memories is her time working at Walt Disney World early in her career—an experience that continues to fuel her passion for immersive consumer experiences.
