Tony “Coach T” Zinn is an accomplished insurance executive, entrepreneur, executive coach, author, and speaker with more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, recruiting, and organizational growth. His career reflects a passion for building successful businesses while helping people reach their full potential.
Tony began his career at GE Capital before advancing into business development and leadership roles at Concept Services. He later joined Farmers Insurance and American National, where he developed a strong reputation for recruiting, coaching, and growing successful insurance organizations.
During his insurance career, Tony built an agency operation from the ground up to 27 locations, 50 agents, and more than $30 million in annual premium. His achievements earned multiple industry recognitions, including Manager of the Year in 2021 and President’s Club in 2025.
In 2016, Tony founded TNT Consulting Group, providing coaching, recruiting, speaking, private lending, and business advisory services. His entrepreneurial experience allows him to help business owners and executives strengthen leadership, improve performance, and pursue sustainable growth.
Tony has also served as District Manager and President of Operations for Farmers Insurance District 48 and currently is the Vice President of Apex B2B Growth. His expertise includes sales strategy, talent development, organizational health, and business expansion.
As an executive coach, mentor, and author of two books, Tony is passionate about developing confident, capable leaders. His speaking and coaching work focuses on accountability, personal growth, and creating strong organizational cultures.
Tony currently serves on two nonprofit boards, bringing valuable experience in governance, business strategy, leadership development, and organizational growth. He offers boards and advisory teams practical insight gained from decades of executive and entrepreneurial leadership.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Educational Leadership and Business from Walsh University and completed insurance studies at Hondros College of Business. His educational background complements his extensive experience developing people and organizations.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys sports, cars, golf, music, travel, writing, and spending time with family. His personal and professional philosophy emphasizes achieving success while maintaining meaningful relationships and personal fulfillment.
