Steve most recently served as Executive Vice President of Industrial Acquisitions & Asset Management at Buligo Capital N.A., where he led a high-performing acquisitions and asset management team focused on value-add opportunities nationwide. In this role, he oversaw the full transaction lifecycle, from negotiations and due diligence to strategic partner and lender relations. He also directed asset management operations for a portfolio of 15 industrial properties totaling 2.3 million square feet. As a voting member of Buligo’s Investment Committee and Executive Leadership Team, Steve played a critical role in shaping the firm’s U.S. industrial investment strategy.
Before joining Buligo, Steve was Vice President of Acquisitions at Spirit Realty Capital (NYSE: SRC), where he led the industrial acquisitions platform. He grew Spirit’s industrial holdings from 67 to 258 properties, expanding the portfolio from 8.8 million to 28.8 million square feet—a 225% increase. In three years, the industrial share of total investments rose from 6% to 24.5%. Steve sourced and closed 47 transactions worth approximately $1.38 billion, from single-tenant sites to large multi-site portfolios, and led key projects like a 645,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Paris, Texas.
Earlier in his career, Steve held senior roles at Westmount Realty Capital, Pacific Century Holdings, and NAI Global, where he led acquisitions and strategic finance efforts across the country. He has worked closely with private equity and family offices, sourced capital for multiple funds, and executed numerous high-profile transactions, including the acquisition of a $62 million redevelopment project in Studio City, California.
Steve launched his investment sales career with The Staubach Company (later acquired by JLL), where he co-led industrial and office dispositions and closed over $175 million of complex transactions nationwide. He began his commercial real estate journey with leadership roles at Grubb & Ellis, laying the groundwork for a career defined by strategic execution, trusted relationships, and consistent top-tier performance.
A five-time CoStar Top Investor Industrial Advisor and frequent top producer recognized by the Dallas Business Journal, Steve is active in both professional and community circles.
