Scott Bishop is a seasoned operations and manufacturing executive with more than 20 years of hands-on experience driving productivity, quality, and team performance in fast-paced industrial environments. With a strong foundation in manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and production leadership, Scott has successfully guided teams through major process improvements, strategic scheduling, and multi-shift management while consistently exceeding production goals and elevating safety and quality standards.

Throughout his career, Scott has demonstrated a deep commitment to operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement. He brings a uniquely diverse professional background that includes overseeing complex fabrication and welding departments, leading cross-functional operations across second and third shifts, and managing quality inspection protocols within ISO 9000 and ISO 9001 certified environments. His ability to maintain control over shifting priorities, tight timelines, and variable production schedules makes him a valuable asset in high-demand settings.

Recently, Scott served as the Metal Fabrication Technical Manager at Rack Processing in Moraine, Ohio, where he oversaw quality inspections, led the welding and fabrications department, and maintained ISO compliance while also contributing as an account sales representative. Prior to that, he held the role of Operations Manager at American Pan in Urbana, where he was responsible for managing daily operations across multiple shifts, leading production meetings, hiring and mentoring staff, and implementing workforce development programs that improved leadership capabilities throughout the organization.

Earlier in his career, Scott served as Production Manager at Beach Manufacturing and spent nearly a decade at Navistar International Corp., where he rose through the ranks to become Manufacturing Operations Supervisor. There, he led a 70+ person team in the Paint Department, collaborated with 15 managers, and introduced in-house quality and repair initiatives that reduced outsourcing costs and increased operational efficiency. His additional roles at Navistar included Quality Control Investigator and Journeyman Mechanic, highlighting his technical expertise and versatility across the production lifecycle.

Scott’s well-rounded background also includes previous experience in quality control, welding, and inspection roles for companies such as Johnson Weld and Faurecia, as well as leadership and client service roles in the insurance and finance industries. This range of experience has helped him develop a keen understanding of both people and process—two critical pillars for any successful business.

He is well-versed in industry tools and methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, APQP, Global 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and P&L management. He has also worked with systems such as Kronos, BAAN, CVT, and Microsoft Office, and is certified in ITAR and Hazmat protocols. Scott’s strengths in troubleshooting, team development, and strategic thinking allow him to align daily operations with broader business goals.

In addition to his core manufacturing and operational expertise, Scott brings unique knowledge in landscape design and maintenance, coaching, and water feature installation—further reflecting his creative mindset and dedication to detail.

Passionate about the automotive and motorcycle industries, Scott’s interest in board service stems from a desire to leverage his experience to help others, build new connections, and generate additional value for organizations. With a track record of driving improvements and creating positive team cultures, Scott is now focused on contributing his insight at the governance level—bringing leadership, operational rigor, and a results-driven mindset to boardrooms seeking practical and strategic expertise.
