Michelle King is the Vice President and Global Talent Solutions Lead at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA), a leader in the global life reinsurance industry. At RGA, Michelle oversees the global talent solutions initiatives, including internal talent management, global immigration and mobility. She was instrumental in implementing a vendor management system to manage contingent labor and acted as an HR Business Partner to client groups.
Michelle’s career also includes significant roles at Maryville Technologies as Director of Recruiting & Career Development, and at iPares, Inc. as Director of Human Resources. In these positions, she was responsible for developing HR departments, staffing, employee relations, organizational development, and managing key vendor relations. Her strategic HR planning and business alignment skills ensured that HR programs and policies were in line with the organization’s goals and values.
Starting her career at Daugherty Systems as a Corporate Staffing Specialist, Michelle was responsible for recruiting qualified candidates and facilitating the staffing process across the corporation. She played a crucial role in the staffing of new branch offices, developing staffing strategies, and managing corporate benefits and relocation packages.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Kennedy Western University. Her commitment to excellence and innovative approach to talent management have made her a respected leader in the field. She is actively involved in volunteering, serving as a board member for Charis in Action.
