Mandy Warren is a seasoned finance and accounting executive with 34 years of experience across the life sciences industry. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in finance transformation, process improvement, system enhancement, and strategic financial planning. Mandy has played a pivotal role in guiding teams through complex financial transitions, including a corporate spin-off, mergers, and large-scale system implementations.

Most recently, Mandy served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President at Fortrea Holdings Inc., a contract research organization (CRO) spun-off from Labcorp. In this role, she led the formation of the controllership, shared services, and external reporting functions, building a global finance team of over 200 employees and contractors. She successfully navigated financial audits, SEC filings, and a segment divestiture, ensuring a seamless financial transition while negotiating critical transition service agreements.

Prior to Fortrea, Mandy held key leadership roles at Labcorp Drug Development, where she served as Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and Vice President of Finance. She was responsible for integrating revenue teams, streamlining financial processes, and improving company cash flow. Mandy also worked closely with clinical development executives to create business strategies, financial analyses, and investment tracking frameworks to support corporate growth initiatives.

Mandy spent more than two decades at GSK, where she took on progressively senior roles in financial leadership. As US Controller and Finance Director, she oversaw financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for the U.S. pharmaceutical commercial business. She played a crucial role in several financial transformations to improve financial efficiency. She was also a member of the U.S. Pharma Finance Leadership Team and the Trust Investment Committee.

During her tenure at GSK, Mandy also served as Finance Director for Business Development, where she led financial evaluations for divestments, acquisitions, and authorized generic launches. She was a trusted finance partner to the commercial organization supporting the established products portfolio, ensuring strategic financial decision-making.

In addition, Mandy held the role of Finance Director for Research and Development at GSK, where she provided financial oversight for late-stage drug development projects. As a member of the Neuroscience and Global Product Strategy Executive Teams, she played an integral role in managing the financial aspects of joint drug development partnerships. She also led the development and implementation of financial policies for agreements with Contract Research Organizations (CROs), ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Earlier in her career, Mandy contributed significantly to global finance system implementations. As Finance Director for Special Projects, she was the North America business lead for global finance consolidation and intercompany profit tracking systems, including a large-scale SAP implementation that impacted over 11,000 users and 40% of GSK’s sales. Her ability to bridge the gap between financial operations and technology transformation has been a key driver of her success.

Mandy began her professional journey at PwC (formerly Coopers & Lybrand), where she managed financial audits, IPO engagements, and acquisition-related services. Her early exposure to public accounting provided her with a strong foundation in financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance, which has informed her approach to financial leadership throughout her career.

Beyond her corporate accomplishments, Mandy has a deep commitment to mentoring and giving back to her community. At GSK she has served on the Board of Trustees for the GSK Foundation and on the Trust Investment Committee, and she was the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Audit Committee at Trinity Baptist Church. Additionally, she is actively involved in nonprofit initiatives supporting homeless women seeking employment and organizations focused on empowering vulnerable youth.

Mandy holds both a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).
