Currently serving as Founder and President of Maple & Palm Exclusive Estates, Brendon leads a premier luxury property management and estate services company serving South Florida’s most distinguished homeowners, investors, and equestrian property owners. Established with a vision to provide white-glove service and comprehensive property oversight, Maple & Palm specializes in luxury estate management, construction oversight, concierge services, rental management, vendor coordination, and asset preservation. The foundation for Brendon’s entrepreneurial success was built through nearly a decade of leadership at Mayer Ranch Polo LLC, where he served as both Operations Manager and Estate Manager. In these roles, he was entrusted with overseeing every aspect of a premier equestrian estate and polo operation that included multiple residential properties, polo fields, paddocks, barns, and extensive infrastructure. His responsibilities extended far beyond traditional property management, encompassing construction oversight, financial administration, staff leadership, vendor management, event production, equine operations, and long-term strategic planning. Through his leadership, the organization maintained exceptional operational standards while maximizing efficiency, preserving asset value, and delivering world-class experiences for owners, guests, and stakeholders.
One of Brendon’s most significant accomplishments during his tenure at Mayer Ranch was overseeing the care and management of more than one hundred polo horses while simultaneously directing complex property operations. Balancing animal welfare, facility maintenance, budget management, staff development, and event execution required a rare blend of organizational discipline and strategic oversight. His ability to coordinate numerous moving parts while maintaining elite standards became one of the defining characteristics of his leadership style and professional reputation.
In addition to his operational accomplishments, Brendon has demonstrated a passion for mentorship and leadership development throughout his career. This commitment was especially evident during his time as Director of Polo Operations and Head Polo Coach at Southern Methodist University. In this role, he was responsible for managing every aspect of the university’s polo program, including recruiting, player development, coaching strategy, facility oversight, and program administration. By combining strategic leadership with hands-on coaching, Brendon helped foster both athletic excellence and personal growth among student-athletes while elevating the visibility and success of the program on a national level.
Prior to his leadership roles in Texas, Brendon built a strong foundation in luxury estate management through his work with Rivendell Polo and Rivendell Asset Management. Managing multiple high-end estates and working farms across Canada and Florida, he developed expertise in overseeing complex property portfolios, coordinating seasonal operations, supervising international logistics, and managing large teams across multiple locations. These experiences expanded his understanding of operational scalability and taught him how to deliver consistent results across diverse environments while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Brendon’s background in professional polo further distinguishes him from many traditional executives. As an accomplished competitor, he gained firsthand experience operating in highly demanding, performance-driven environments where discipline, preparation, and teamwork determine success. His achievements as a professional polo player, including earning championship titles and being named Most Valuable Player during the 2012 Florida season, reinforced the leadership principles that continue to guide his professional career today.
