As Director of Operations for Chrysalis Counseling, Coaching and Consulting, Aiysha provided executive oversight for organizational strategy, operational planning, financial management, compliance, workforce development, and performance measurement. Working alongside executive leadership, she translated organizational vision into actionable business strategies while implementing systems that improved operational efficiency, enhanced cross-functional collaboration, and strengthened organizational culture. Her leadership ensured that business objectives remained aligned with mission while positioning the organization for sustainable long-term growth.
Aiysha’s passion for advocacy and servant leadership is perhaps most evident through her extensive governance experience. As Chairperson of the Board for African Career, Education, and Resources (ACER), she has helped guide one of Minnesota’s leading organizations serving African immigrant communities by advancing initiatives focused on racial equity, education, economic opportunity, and systemic change. Her board leadership reflects a deep understanding of governance, strategic planning, fiduciary responsibility, stakeholder engagement, and community collaboration. In addition, her service across educational organizations, nonprofit boards, labor leadership, and civic committees has provided valuable experience navigating complex governance environments while building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Her commitment to creating equitable systems also led to her election as Local President of Robbinsdale Equity Allies Local #8150, where she successfully organized her department into its first formal union and led negotiations that secured an improved collective bargaining agreement, including meaningful salary increases and enhanced member protections. Through collaborative leadership, disciplined negotiation, and thoughtful advocacy, she demonstrated an ability to unite diverse voices around shared goals while balancing organizational priorities with the needs of employees and communities. This experience further strengthened her expertise in labor relations, executive communication, policy development, and organizational leadership.
Before moving into executive leadership, Aiysha built an impressive career in education and community engagement with Robbinsdale Area Schools, where she served as School Climate & Culture Specialist, Family and Community Engagement Specialist, and Special Education Assistant. Throughout these roles, she developed culturally responsive programs, strengthened family engagement initiatives, facilitated strategic partnerships between schools and communities, and created systems designed to improve educational outcomes. Her work consistently emphasized belonging, equity, collaboration, and relationship-building while supporting students, families, educators, and community leaders alike.
As Founder and Principal Consultant of Mustapha Consultants, Aiysha expanded her influence by advising startups, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and business leaders on organizational development, digital marketing, program management, strategic communications, leadership development, diversity initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. She has designed training programs, facilitated workshops, developed marketing strategies, and helped organizations strengthen operational performance while maintaining authentic community relationships. Her educational background includes studies in Electronic Engineering Technology at DeVry University and a Bachelor of Education in Special Education from Liberty University, reflecting both technical aptitude and a passion for serving others.
More recently, Aiysha has intentionally expanded her professional focus into luxury travel advisory and global cultural experiences, bringing together decades of expertise in program coordination, operations, relationship management, and cross-cultural engagement. As a Luxury Travel Advisor with Fora Travel and through her personal brand, Saffron & Soul: Becoming Abroad, she curates immersive travel experiences that encourage cultural understanding, personal transformation, and authentic connection. Drawing from international experiences throughout Asia and her conversational Spanish skills, she designs journeys that go beyond destinations to create meaningful human experiences rooted in curiosity, learning, and personal growth.
