    W. Thomas More (Bill) Williams is a highly accomplished executive leader, board director, and strategic advisor with over 40 years of experience guiding organizations through financial transformation, operational excellence, legal structuring, and technological innovation. With a rare combination of CFO expertise, legal training, and deep strategic insight, Bill has consistently delivered measurable value across a wide range of sectors, including technology, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, automotive, chemicals, clean energy, and logistics.

Currently, Bill serves on the Board of Directors and as Audit Committee Chair for KPI Integrated Solutions, a $300 million private equity-backed company specializing in supply chain automation, consulting, engineering, services, and SaaS solutions. In parallel, he leads W. Williams, Esq. LLC, where he provides high-impact advisory services, interim executive leadership, and legal counsel to both emerging and established companies.

In his most recent executive role, Bill served as Chief Financial Officer for Brand Engagement Network (BEN, Nasdaq: BNAI), a generative AI technology firm focused on conversational AI solutions for the automotive and healthcare sectors. During his tenure, he led the company’s successful public listing on NASDAQ, directed investor relations, capital raising efforts, and built a scalable finance function suitable for public company operations. His leadership was instrumental in establishing financial controls, SOX compliance, audit governance, and securing analyst coverage — positioning the company for long-term growth and credibility in the public markets.

Prior to BEN, Bill was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Sustainability Officer at American Tire Distributors, a $5 billion revenue company and a dominant player in the North American automotive aftermarket. He led a comprehensive financial restructuring that successfully equitized over $1.1 billion in debt and achieved revenue and earnings recovery two years ahead of schedule. Bill was the driving force behind a value creating sale of a non-strategic Canadian subsidiary, and the creation of Torqata Data & Analytics, a cutting-edge data platform that transformed operational decision-making through big data, predictive analytics, and blockchain-based supply chain transparency. He also spearheaded a company-wide sustainability initiative, leading efforts to model carbon emissions using AI-based tools, publish ESG reports, and develop new revenue-generating capabilities in tire recycling and fleet decarbonization.

Bill’s earlier career includes CFO and transformation leadership roles for a range of companies undergoing critical transitions. He was instrumental in guiding a UK-listed biofuels company through debt restructuring and capital markets preparation. As CFO for a $4 billion pharmaceutical distributor, he delivered operational and financial planning innovations that more than doubled EBITDA over three years and completed two major acquisitions. At Martin Brower, he led the successful centralization of financial operations, while improving forecasting and reducing operating costs for the largest McDonald’s distribution system in the Americas. His role at IBM as Industry Leader for Finance and Operations Analytics allowed him to shape global strategies for Fortune 500 clients seeking to harness data for competitive advantage. As a Value Based Management advisor at Stern Stewart he led numerous companies to adopt EVA performance management systems to drive sustained shareholder value creation.

His background also includes key financial and strategic roles at Allied Signal/Honeywell, where he served as CFO of the Engineered Materials Sector; at Steelcase, as Executive Vice President and CFO overseeing worldwide financial operations and a captive finance subsidiary; and at Kraft Foods, where he held multiple senior leadership roles in finance, strategy, quality, and logistics. He began his career at Deloitte as a Senior Auditor and CPA before entering corporate leadership.

Bill’s board and civic engagements include his current role on the Board of Counselors for Equal Justice Works in Washington, DC, and active membership in the American Bar Association. Academically, he holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a JD from DePaul University, and a BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He is a licensed attorney in Illinois and a CPA, and has pursued post-graduate studies in AI, international trade law, management science, and sustainability.

Internationally, Bill has worked extensively across Asia, including in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well as in Canada and throughout Europe. His global exposure informs a sophisticated understanding of cross-border operations and strategic partnerships. Known for his analytical rigor, collaborative leadership style, and forward-looking approach, particularly in leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, Bill is actively pursuing board and advisory opportunities where his unique blend of financial, legal, and operational expertise can help organizations scale, innovate, and lead in their respective industries.
