Currently serving as the Vice President of Compliance for Farm Bureau Health Plans, Thomas oversees the compliance program for all lines of business, including Medicare Advantage (Part C), Prescription Drug Plan (Part D), and Medicare Supplements in addition to the HIPAA Privacy Compliance. His key responsibilities include promoting a culture of compliance, coordinating policies and procedures to align with regulatory obligations, and conducting annual risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Thomas also leads the internal audit team and monitoring activities, including CMS audits, ensuring the FBHP meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
