Parker LLC, and a trusted advisor with more than 25 years of experience leading transformation across Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), Health Information Management (HIM), compliance, and revenue cycle strategy. She is known for translating complexity into scalable, governance-driven strategies that are both operationally aligned and clinically sound.

Throughout her career, Shirlivia has demonstrated a unique ability to transform healthcare operations by aligning clinical documentation, coding compliance, and utilization management with broader organizational goals. Her leadership has supported hospitals, health systems, and consulting organizations in optimizing revenue capture while maintaining regulatory integrity and improving patient-centered outcomes. She approaches every initiative with a strategic lens, ensuring that improvements in documentation and coding directly support long-term sustainability and value-based care delivery.

Prior to founding her firm, Shirlivia held executive leadership roles including Vice President of Advisory Services, Audit, Education, and Compliance at HIMpros, where she led enterprise strategies to strengthen consultant performance, client outcomes, and service innovation. She also served as President of Compliance for Clinical Revenue Cycle at Medovent Solutions, where she built and scaled a compliance and quality division focused on mid-revenue cycle optimization, operational transparency, and strategic growth.

Her earlier leadership roles at organizations such as the University of California Davis Medical Center and Providence Health & Services further established her as a transformational leader. In these roles, she advanced physician engagement, implemented documentation technologies, and led system-wide education and denials management strategies that generated millions in recovered revenue while reinforcing compliance and documentation accuracy.

Beyond operations, Shirlivia is deeply committed to advancing the HIM profession and preparing the next generation of leaders. She serves as Committee Chair of the AHIMA Council for Excellence in Education (2025–2028), where she contributes to national workgroups focused on workforce development, academic alignment, and the integration of emerging technologies into HIM education. She is also an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

A globally recognized speaker and thought leader, Shirlivia presents on AI in healthcare, sepsis clinical validation, ethical governance, and revenue cycle transformation. Her work emphasizes that successful AI adoption requires not only innovation, but strong governance frameworks led by subject matter experts who understand the business strategy behind AI.

Shirlivia holds a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management.
