Scott Collick is a sustainability, innovation, and technology executive with more than three decades of experience driving growth, operational performance, and enterprise transformation across global industrial businesses. Currently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance for DuPont, Scott leads the company’s enterprise-wide sustainability strategy, regulatory excellence, product stewardship, and ESG integration efforts. In this role, he is responsible for embedding sustainability into core business decision-making while positioning the organization for long-term resilience and growth. He works across the enterprise and with external stakeholders to advance climate and circularity initiatives, strengthen responsible sourcing programs, and ensure compliance with evolving global regulatory frameworks. He regularly engages with the DuPont Board of Directors and investors, providing guidance on sustainability strategy, risk, and performance. His leadership has helped position sustainability as a driver of business performance and competitive differentiation.

Throughout his career, Scott has demonstrated a consistent ability to translate complex technical and environmental challenges into measurable business outcomes. He brings deep expertise in climate and carbon accounting, ESG governance, lifecycle analysis, product carbon footprint methodologies, and sustainability reporting. With a strong business foundation, he has led teams in using sustainability to create value through innovation, operational improvement, and growth. In addition, he is a recognized advocate for carbon fluency, helping organizations connect sustainability performance to financial outcomes, innovation, and growth.

Prior to his current role, Scott served as Vice President of Sustainability at DuPont, where he strengthened governance systems, enhanced ESG performance, and advanced reporting capabilities during a period of significant organizational change. His leadership helped align sustainability priorities with business strategy, improving both operational performance and external positioning.

Earlier in his career, Scott served as Vice President of Global Research & Development for DuPont’s Mobility & Materials business. He led a global organization of approximately 800 scientists and engineers with a technology budget exceeding $200 million. Under his leadership, the organization delivered significant innovation-driven growth, received multiple industry awards for new products, and successfully navigated complex integrations and organizational transformations across global markets.

Scott’s broader leadership foundation was built over a thirty year career with The Dow Chemical Company and DowDuPont, where he held senior R&D, commercial, and global leadership roles. During this time, he helped drive innovation, market development, and growth across plastics, packaging, and advanced materials businesses serving global industrial and consumer markets. His experience spans materials science, manufacturing, commercialization, and customer-focused innovation across diverse end industries.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Scott brings meaningful governance and public policy experience. He served two terms over six years as Co-Chair of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Board on Chemical Sciences and Technology, helping guide independent, science-based recommendations to the U.S. government on priorities in chemical engineering, manufacturing, and innovation. This role provided direct exposure to national policy, regulatory trends, and multi-stakeholder decision-making.

Scott has extensive board and advisory experience across academic, community, and national organizations, contributing expertise in governance, strategy, and industry engagement. His leadership approach reflects a balance of strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and stakeholder alignment, with a focus on linking innovation and sustainability performance to business outcomes.

He holds an MBA in Finance from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and has completed executive education at Babson College and Columbia Business School.
