Paul Livanos Growth, Monetization & Go-To-Market Operator

Published on:

Paul Livanos is a senior revenue executive and board advisor with nearly two decades of experience designing and scaling commercial growth engines across financial services, data platforms, private credit, and fintech-enabled technology. He currently serves as Vice President and Head of Sales at Siepe LLC, a WestCap-backed technology and operations platform serving institutional credit managers.

Paul operates at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, product commercialization, and monetization design. At Siepe, he owns revenue strategy, sales organization design, and annual GTM planning, and partners closely with the CEO, Board, Product, and Operations leadership. During his tenure, Siepe has achieved approximately 2.5x revenue growth, completed a growth equity raise, and built a more structured, data-driven commercial operating model.

Paul has built and scaled multi-layered revenue organizations and implemented repeatable GTM systems, including annual GTM strategies, multi-year growth planning, market segmentation, and product-led prioritization. He developed data-backed growth models showing that approximately 80% of near-term expansion is driven by core services businesses and introduced a Three Horizons product framework that defined Middle Office Services, Collateral Administration, and Compliance Software as core growth platforms.

Paul has repeatedly helped launch, package, and scale new products. At Siepe, he supported the commercialization of new services and software offerings, established tiered packaging and standardized inclusions, and built premium pricing frameworks. The firm routinely wins at approximately 20% premium pricing relative to competitors based on clearly articulated value. Paul was instrumental in securing Blackstone and Blue Owl as strategic private credit clients.

Previously, Paul was a Managing Director at Virtus (acquired by FIS in 2020), where he helped scale ARR from approximately $75M to $120M between 2020 and 2023. He built and led a national team of nine senior account executives, all meeting or exceeding quota, and drove enterprise platform adoption across buy-side credit markets. He redefined the commercial offering as a bundled front-, middle-, and back-office platform, shortened enterprise sales cycles by roughly 50%, increased average contract duration from three to five years, and improved mandate throughput by approximately 30%. Enterprise wins included Benefit Street Partners, GoldenTree, and King Street.

Across Virtus and Siepe, Paul has focused on building compounding growth through deep client relationships anchored in multi-solution solution sets rather than point products, creating durable, expanding revenue streams over time.

Earlier, Paul spent nine years at BNY in Structured Finance and Corporate Trust, working across RMBS, resecuritizations, and CLOs before moving into a front-office relationship management role focused on business development and cross-sell.

Paul designs monetization models that drive both growth and margin. He introduced product definition frameworks separating standard versus non-standard requirements, established tiered pricing tied to complexity and support levels, and shifted pricing from cost-based to value-based methodologies. At Virtus, he implemented a 60% minimum gross margin floor for services and consistently delivered at or above that threshold. At Siepe, he is driving margin expansion through platform scalability, automation, offshore leverage, standardized packaging, separate pricing for software portals, and AUM-based variable fee components for software.

Paul also improves the quality and predictability of growth by leveraging existing client relationships for reference-led acquisition and instituting forward-looking 60-day deal visibility to align Sales, Product, and Operations around onboarding readiness and capacity planning.

As a board director or advisor, Paul brings a practical operator’s mindset, deep institutional relationships, and first-hand experience working with private equity sponsors, boards, and executive teams through periods of scale and transformation.
