Michael E. “Mike” McEntee is a dynamic executive with a distinguished 40+ year career spanning the Aerospace & Defense, Microelectronics, and Electronics Manufacturing industries. Known for his blend of hands-on technical acumen and top-tier strategic leadership, Mike has built a legacy of growth, operational transformation, and enduring industry relationships. His cross-functional command of Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Test, and Operations has enabled him to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments where innovation and precision are paramount.

Currently serving as Principal Account Manager at Precision Test Solutions (PTS), Mike plays a critical role in driving domestic and international business development efforts for both commercial and military accounts. In addition to managing key contracts and pricing strategies, he has been instrumental in onboarding major testing programs—including for L3Harris—and in advising the company’s owner on high-level strategy. This marks his second tenure at PTS, underscoring the trusted partnership and value he brings to the organization.

During his earlier four-year engagement at PTS, Mike served as Senior Director of Sales, Marketing & Quality and Acting Lab Manager for Simulation and Qualification Testing. He led end-to-end initiatives—from quoting and bidding to securing multimillion-dollar sourcing contracts with Honeywell and Crane Aerospace. His contributions included developing new services, leading AS9100 and Defense Logistics Agency audits, and personally managing complex testing programs such as Raytheon’s THAAD qualification work.

Mike’s strategic influence also extended across leadership roles at Tektronix (now part of Danaher/Fortive), where he managed national Aerospace & Defense accounts and facilitated high-level governance board meetings. He also held multiple roles at Sypris Solutions, including Division General Manager of a $16M multi-location testing business. There, he secured a $4.3 million Space Shuttle support contract with Lockheed Martin and spearheaded capital acquisition and lab expansions, reporting directly to the President.

Earlier in his career, Mike was Vice President of Operations at Chip Supply, where he managed a 125-person microelectronics organization with full P&L oversight. He built his foundational leadership experience through roles at Sprague Electric, EG&G Electro-Optics, and General Radio, consistently blending manufacturing supervision with advanced technical responsibility.

Mike has long been a contributor to his professional community. He served in multiple Board leadership roles—including as Past-President and Treasurer—for respected organizations such as the Manufacturer’s Association of Central Florida (MACF), the Florida Chapter of IMAPS (International Microelectronics Assembly and Packaging Society), and the APICS Orlando Chapter. These contributions reflect his enduring commitment to advancing industry standards, education, and collaboration.

Academically, Mike earned his B.S. in Industrial Technology, cum laude, from Northeastern University and an A.S. in Electronic Technology from North Shore Community College. He continued his executive education through a variety of esteemed programs, including a weeklong seminar on leadership for the transformation age taught by W. Edwards Deming through his organization, the Center for Transformation Leadership. He also participated in a strategic leadership workshop at the Center for Strategic Development in Colorado Springs, where he was selected as Team Captain. In addition, Mike holds a CPIM certification from APICS and has completed advanced training in project management, CAD/CAM, and aerospace quality systems.
