    Michael Goralski is a seasoned executive leader renowned for his strategic vision, operational excellence, and comprehensive expertise in business growth and development. With a career spanning over three decades, Michael has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive significant business outcomes across various industries, including chemicals, manufacturing, and specialty products.

    Most recently, Michael served as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Industrial & Specialty Segment at Element Solutions Inc., a role he held from July 2020 to December 2023. In this capacity, he was instrumental in partnering with commercial organizations to set strategic directions, fostering organic growth, and spearheading acquisitions, for 3 business segments with approximately $850M in sales. 

    Prior to this role, Michael was the Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Element Solutions Inc. from May 2018 to July 2020, where he managed the supply chain for five diverse business units, including Industrial Solutions, Electronic Solutions, Graphic Solutions, Offshore Solutions, and Assembly Solutions. His oversight extended to a global manufacturing footprint of 40 facilities, emphasizing procurement, strategic sourcing, EH&S, regulatory compliance, quality, and engineering.

    From December 2015 to May 2018, Michael held the position of VP & General Manager Industrial Solutions – Americas at MacDermid Enthone, a division of Platform Specialty Products. In this role, he was responsible for sales, marketing, and finance, driving the strategic vision and growth efforts within key supply chains across the Americas. His leadership extended from the VP & General Manager North America role at MacDermid Inc. from September 2013 to December 2015, where he managed sales, marketing, finance, and operations for the divisions in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

    Michael’s career at MacDermid Inc. began in March 2001, where he served as Vice President of Finance & Operations – Americas until September 2013. During this period, he was responsible for all aspects of finance for the Americas division, with subsidiaries in the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. He prepared financial results and management summaries for executive leadership and the Board of Directors, managed operations at manufacturing and R&D facilities, provided business insights regarding financial issues affecting operations and growth, and participated in strategic planning.

    Before joining MacDermid Inc., Michael spent seven years at Superior Products Distributors Inc., where he held various positions in accounting, eventually becoming the controller over five of the seven divisions. His early career foundation was built at Superior Products, where he developed a strong grasp of financial management and operational control.

    Michael holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut School of Business. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, and ability to drive continuous improvement. His skills in supply chain management, product development, and change management have been endorsed by numerous colleagues, reflecting his reputation as a transformative leader.

    Beyond his professional achievements, Michael has been actively involved with the United Way of Greater Waterbury, serving as the 2016-2017 Campaign Co-Chair. His personal interests include fitness, golf, and boating, which he enjoys during his semi-retirement.
