He has successfully built and scaled a business unit focused on driving results through diverse supplier engagement, sustainability best practices, and data-backed decision-making. Before joining Capital Group, Marcus served as Senior Vice President of Supplier Diversity at Regions Bank, where he transformed the bank’s approach to supplier engagement. Under his leadership, the organization expanded its revenue streams and built equitable partnerships with minority, women-owned, veteran, disabled, and LGBTQ+ businesses. In this role, he chaired the Economic Development, Budget, and Finance Committee, overseeing a $400MM municipal budget.
