Currently serving as a Client Executive at HTC Global Services, Laura is responsible for delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions to payer and provider clients nationwide. Her role bridges strategic planning, clinical insight, and operational excellence, enabling organizations to leverage digital health platforms that enhance patient care, reduce friction in clinical workflows, and support regulatory compliance.
Prior to her current role, Laura served as Vice President of Transparent Network – Clinical at Optum, where she championed the integration of clinical decision support systems across providers and payers. Her work focused on eliminating unnecessary barriers to care and fostering collaboration between key stakeholders in the healthcare value chain. At UnitedHealth Group, Laura held several leadership roles over nearly 14 years, including Vice President of Strategic Community Partnerships and Central Region Compliance Officer. In these positions, she led the national development of Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) programs and built scalable compliance frameworks that aligned business goals with federal and state healthcare regulations.
Earlier in her career, Laura founded Freedy Consulting, a healthcare strategy and operations firm where she advised national and local healthcare organizations on practice development, compliance, marketing, and P&L optimization. Her entrepreneurial leadership also extended to her tenure as Vice President of Emergency Room Specialists, where she oversaw operational strategy, financial performance, and product development for an emergent care business line contracted with major insurers.
