When La’Tisha joined the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, she entered one of the nation’s most demanding and multifaceted public agencies. What began as a commitment to administrative and project support quickly evolved into a leadership trajectory marked by high-impact contributions to landmark infrastructure and aviation initiatives. Her work managing onboarding processes for the Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A Redevelopment Program set the stage for her capability to harmonize legal compliance, contractor management, and stakeholder coordination at scale.

In this foundational aviation role, La’Tisha became known for the precision and reliability she brought to contractor compliance, security credentialing, and MWBE engagement efforts. Managing complex document flows, aligning legal requirements, and collaborating with engineering and government relations teams demonstrated her ability to operate at the intersection of policy, operations, and community engagement. Her experience provided an invaluable understanding of how major transportation projects come to life—and the collective discipline required to deliver them successfully.

Her progression through the agency led her to serve in strategic support functions for federally significant initiatives, including the Portal North Bridge and the Hudson Tunnel–Gateway Program. In these assignments, La’Tisha prepared briefing materials, funding timelines, and interagency communications for executive leadership and federal partners. She became a trusted contributor connecting construction, funding, environmental review, and real estate issues into cohesive narratives that informed critical decision-making. Her engagement with the Federal Transit Administration reinforced her commitment to accuracy, clarity, and collaboration at the highest levels of public infrastructure governance.

Today, as a visionary and advocate for Customer Experience for all airports under Port Authority’s purview, La’Tisha stands at the forefront of shaping the traveler journey for millions of passengers annually. She oversees attributes of the digital content and correspondence for  the Voice of the Customer program, social media communications that provide insight to the travelers needs and interests, and coordinates digital content with airport stakeholders on the airport websites that reflects the agency’s vision for a 21st-century, world-class aviation experience.  This experience has led her to project manage innovative technology projects through the agency’s Transit Tec Lab and her work ensures that every operational improvement, digital interaction, and passenger touchpoint aligns with a broader mission of accessibility, convenience, and excellence. 

In addition to her professional achievements, La’Tisha brings a profound commitment to continuous learning and service. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Seton Hall University, grounding her leadership style in empathy, organizational strategy, and workforce development. Her academic foundation complements her practical experience, allowing her to bridge human capital insights with operational objectives in both public and private organizational contexts.
