Krish Narasimhan is an accomplished executive, engineer, entrepreneur, and technology strategist whose career spans more than four decades across aerospace and defense, telecommunications, healthcare, government contracting, and advanced technology. Krish currently serves as Founder, President, and CEO of BlueSpace LLC, a boutique business and technology consulting organization supporting U.S. government contractors, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and technology ventures. Through BlueSpace, he has provided business development, project and technical management, solution architecture, process re-engineering, and cloud implementation expertise. His leadership contributed to the capture of an $8 billion, eight-year IDIQ contract and included directing the design and implementation of a cloud-based ground segment for an innovative remote-sensing satellite constellation. He has also architected independent verification and validation activities for satellite ground-processing systems operating within modern GitLab CI/CD, SAFe, and Agile environments.

Krish’s ability to connect technology investment with measurable organizational value is equally evident in healthcare. In one engagement, he helped transform a paper-based medical practice into an electronic operation within approximately three months while supporting compliance requirements associated with the Affordable Care Act. The modernization improved billing efficiency, operations, and patient throughput, ultimately contributing to a 30 percent increase in annual revenue. Experiences such as this illustrate a defining quality of Krish’s leadership: technology is never implemented simply for technology’s sake; it must ultimately improve performance, scalability, service, or economic value.

Before founding BlueSpace, Krish spent nearly a decade with Lockheed Martin, where his responsibilities encompassed technology management, program and capture leadership, corporate engineering, and new business development. As Director of Technology Transition within Lockheed Martin’s Corporate Engineering and Technology organization, he developed a corporate framework for technology transition and innovation management while building strategic alliances supporting major defense and civil programs. His work touched areas ranging from nanotechnology, solar energy, and ocean observing systems to healthcare information exchange and electronic health records, demonstrating an unusual breadth of technical fluency.

During his Lockheed Martin tenure, Krish also served as a senior program leader on the capture and implementation of a multibillion-dollar enterprise telecommunications infrastructure services contract. His responsibilities included leading the design and establishment of an operations support center serving approximately 14,000 customer locations. He additionally helped demonstrate service-oriented healthcare information exchange architecture capable of sharing electronic health records across government, military, hospital, and physician environments. These assignments strengthened his expertise in large-scale infrastructure governance, secure communications, enterprise systems, technical risk, and the translation of highly complex architectures into operationally sustainable programs.

Krish’s foundation in telecommunications reaches back to the formative years of modern broadband infrastructure. As a founding member of Broadband Technologies Inc., he helped pioneer a multiservice fiber-optic broadband access network that anticipated many of the capabilities consumers now associate with modern fiber-to-the-premises services. His engineering contributions included designing access-system components, developing a 2.8 Gb/s switching fabric ASIC, advancing distributed power approaches, and architecting an international version of the company’s product platform. His responsibilities eventually expanded beyond engineering into international marketing, field trials, strategic partnerships, and corporate transactions, including helping facilitate the acquisition of the company’s international product group by Bosch Telecom.

Krish subsequently served in senior leadership positions with Bosch Telecom and Marconi Communications, including Vice President of Engineering and Vice President/General Manager of a fiber access network business. Leading more than 100 technical professionals, he oversaw the design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and global deployment of passive optical network-based broadband systems. He co-architected a platform adaptable to country-specific telecommunications requirements and helped deploy one of the world’s early commercial full-service residential broadband access networks in Canberra, Australia. Under his leadership, the business grew from new-product introduction to more than $28 million in sales within three years.

Earlier in his career, Krish participated in a General Electric entrepreneurial initiative associated with Jack Welch’s vision of fostering innovation inside large corporations. Working as part of a startup-oriented technical team, he contributed to high-performance graphics technology that progressed from concept to commercial deployment in approximately 18 months. His work included advanced frame and Z-buffer designs and pioneering applications of video RAM technology. This early experience helped establish a professional pattern that would continue throughout his career: understanding emerging technologies deeply enough to engineer them, while simultaneously recognizing how they can become viable products, scalable platforms, and sustainable businesses.

Krish has also contributed his expertise to federal data governance and scientific infrastructure. During seven years of service with the NOAA Science Advisory Board’s data management activities, he championed work that evolved into NOAA data management policy, bringing his systems perspective to questions involving lifecycle governance, data accessibility, technical standards, and modernization. More recently, his technical interests have extended into artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for satellite imagery and operational data, including work involving transfer-learning approaches and satellite image processing. He has authored and co-authored technical papers throughout his career, including recent work presented in connection with the American Meteorological Society in 2026.

For boards and advisory organizations, Krish offers an especially valuable combination of technical depth and business judgment. He understands physical infrastructure, enterprise networking, cloud migration, satellite systems, data governance, engineering organizations, government contracting, and technology commercialization, but he also understands the capital and operational implications behind those technologies. His broader travels across dozens of countries have reinforced a worldview shaped by curiosity, continuous learning, and an appreciation for how technology and business requirements differ across markets.

Krish’s academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and an honors bachelor’s degree in engineering, where his consistently strong academic performance earned him recognition including a graduating-class Silver Medal. He has supplemented his technical education with business and financial management studies through institutions including Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and the Wharton School. A Senior Member of IEEE, he has also served as a startup advisor and judge through George Washington University’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, extending his experience to the next generation of founders and emerging businesses.
