He later joined Cleveland Telecommunications Corporation as Director of Administration, where he managed contracts supporting organizations such as NASA and the Environmental Protection Agency while overseeing procurement, accounting, human resources, and operational administration. Leading a workforce of more than 100 employees, Jon gained broad executive experience in budgeting, policy implementation, compliance, and operational leadership. His efforts improved organizational efficiency and generated significant cost savings through disciplined contract negotiation and process improvement.

Jon’s career reached new heights during more than twenty years at KeyBank, where he advanced through a series of senior sourcing and procurement leadership roles. Managing an enterprise spend portfolio exceeding $460 million, he oversaw strategic sourcing initiatives across information technology, consulting, human resources, legal services, treasury management, outsourcing, and fraud prevention technologies. Through supplier consolidation, category management, and strategic negotiations, he consistently delivered millions of dollars in annual savings while positioning procurement as a strategic partner to the business. His ability to align supplier relationships with corporate objectives contributed to profitability, risk reduction, and long term organizational value.

His work at KeyBank also provided extensive experience collaborating with leading consulting, accounting, technology, and professional services firms, including Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, and Ernst & Young. These relationships deepened his expertise in vendor governance, compliance, enterprise risk management, and strategic planning while expanding his understanding of complex organizational structures and executive decision making.

This role further strengthened his expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management while reinforcing his ability to balance cost, quality, and mission critical delivery requirements.
