    Jimmy A. Verrett is a seasoned marketing executive and creative visionary with over 35 years of experience leading integrated, experiential, and strategic marketing initiatives across some of the world’s most recognized brands and agencies. Throughout his career, Jimmy has demonstrated a unique ability to blend creative leadership with operational precision, successfully guiding cross-functional teams, driving revenue growth, and delivering award-winning marketing programs that fuel brand engagement and business transformation.

    Jimmy most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of BD Performing Arts, a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to youth music education and pageantry arts. During his tenure from May 2022 to December 2024, he spearheaded a complete organizational restructuring, segmenting the company into focused business units with empowered departmental leaders. This shift not only enabled sustainable growth but allowed the organization to sunset the CEO role, reflecting the success of his strategic design. Under his leadership, the organization improved net revenue through expanded business operations, cost mitigation, and growth in ancillary ventures such as charity bingo and event services. Concurrently, BDPA programs such as The Blue Devils achieved historic success, winning multiple world championships and reinforcing the organization’s global leadership in youth arts education.

    Prior to his nonprofit leadership, Jimmy spent seven years as Senior Creative Director at Invision Communications, where he directed comprehensive experiential programs for Fortune 500 companies, including Amway, Genentech, RMS, and Docusign. His creative contributions spanned live, virtual, and hybrid formats, earning accolades such as Telly Awards while consistently delivering on strategic goals. His ability to innovate within dynamic environments led to the reengineering of Novvi.com’s web presence and countless successful RFPs and campaigns across industries.

    Jimmy’s earlier career includes high-impact leadership roles with TBWA\TEQUILA, AMCI Global, Lowe New York, and Brand Buzz/Y&R, where he shaped marketing and sponsorship programs for global automotive brands like Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and GMC. His efforts directly contributed to the acquisition of tens of millions of dollars in new business and the execution of nationally recognized campaigns, including Super Bowl pre-game broadcasts and strategic NFL partnerships.

    As Founder and President of Transducer Marketing, Jimmy provided strategic and creative consulting services to both agencies and emerging brands, helping companies refine their brand identity, go-to-market strategy, and consumer engagement platforms. His fingerprint on integrated brand storytelling has been consistent, intentional, and deeply effective.

    Jimmy is particularly interested in contributing to small-cap, growth-oriented companies in the CPG, beverage, automotive, and technology sectors. He is not currently pursuing roles in pharma or healthcare industries. With extensive expertise in digital marketing, leadership, sales strategy, strategic planning, product management, and brand development, he is now actively seeking board or advisory roles where his seasoned perspective can help organizations navigate growth, market positioning, and innovation.

    A graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Advertising/Journalism, Jimmy has also completed most of his MBA coursework in Marketing at the University of New Orleans. While not currently active on boards or associations, he is open to serving in strategic advisory capacities where he can lend his depth of experience and creative acumen.
