Throughout his tenure at The Miner Corporation, he has led enterprise-wide initiatives that have reshaped the organization’s field service operations, technology platforms, and performance culture. His efforts include the full-scale implementation of Salesforce Field Service and CPQ solutions, streamlining everything from customer proposals to field execution via iPad-enabled tools, while embedding critical inventory, procurement, and invoicing workflows through tight integration with Miner’s ERP system. These transformative initiatives not only boosted operational visibility and efficiency but also improved responsiveness and first-time fix rates—key measures of customer satisfaction.

    Jaap’s leadership style is deeply collaborative and human-centered. He developed role-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) and eLearning modules to onboard talent and integrate acquisitions seamlessly, ensuring alignment and scalability across the organization.     Before joining Miner, Jaap held several key leadership roles at GE, where he spent nearly three decades transforming quality systems, digitizing service delivery, and leading integration efforts of strategic acquisitions. As Director of Service Operations at GE Grid Solutions, he was pivotal in aligning customer responsiveness programs and business process engineering across a $450M service business. As Quality Systems Director for GE Energy, he unified the quality management frameworks across a $40B portfolio, setting the foundation for sustainable ISO certification and global process standardization. Earlier, as Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he established frameworks to capture and eliminate the cost of failure, embedding a culture of transparency and continual improvement.

    Jaap’s global mindset is matched by his linguistic fluency—speaking English, German, and Dutch fluently, with working knowledge of French and Spanish. His education includes a Master of Science in Business Administration and Operations from Twente University in the Netherlands, where he co-founded the AIESEC chapter, reflecting his early commitment to leadership and global collaboration. He also served as a First Lieutenant in the Royal Dutch Army’s Technical Service, an experience that continues to inform his disciplined, systems-oriented approach to problem-solving.
