Gregory Cassiere is a forward-thinking education executive with over 25 years of experience spanning K–12, higher education, and the rapidly evolving edtech landscape. As an Education Consultant, Program Developer, and College Professor, Gregory has dedicated his career to transforming traditional classrooms into dynamic, future-ready learning environments that align academic learning with real-world skills.
He currently holds faculty positions at Iona University, Mercy University, Niagara University, and Touro University. At Iona, he pioneered the university’s first Esports curriculum and launched a drone technology program, blending academic instruction with cutting-edge innovation. At Mercy, he spearheaded the creation of a Mortuary Pathway Academic Program and leads the integration of AI in teacher education courses.
Gregory has delivered AI-focused professional development for teachers, principals, and university faculty—training educators on custom AI chatbot design, digital avatars for English as a New Language (ENL) learners, hands-on assessment strategies, and best practices for managing AI-related plagiarism. His workshops have been hosted by institutions including the Teacher Education Institute, where he also developed and taught courses on AI in the Classroom and gaming for learning.
In addition to his work in the U.S., Gregory has presented internationally in China, Indonesia, and Japan, delivering lectures on AI in education and supporting the growth of academic programs that bridge technology and pedagogy. His Esports in Education curriculum, designed to engage special needs students, reflects his commitment to inclusive innovation.
Previously, at SHI International Corp., Gregory served as an Education Strategist, consulting on STEM, VR, and robotics integration while developing scalable Esports curriculum for schools and universities.
He is also a respected clinical supervisor for aspiring educators, evaluating edTPA submissions and guiding teacher certification in New York. His areas of expertise include curriculum design, instructional leadership, risk assessment, and strategic communication.
Gregory is a frequent speaker at faculty development events, known for his ability to demystify complex topics and inspire forward-looking teaching practices. He currently serves on the board of Quick Class Education and is actively seeking expanded board roles to help shape the future of education on a broader scale.
He holds a Master of Education in Elementary and Special Education from Mercy University and a Bachelor’s in Political Economy from Fordham University.
