Gina M. Carfagno is a globally recognized business executive, AI and data industry expert, and board advisor whose career spans more than two decades at the intersection of technology, revenue growth, and enterprise transformation. Known for her ability to translate advanced data and AI capabilities into scalable commercial outcomes, Gina has built, led, and transformed businesses for Fortune 500 companies across retail, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, and technology. Her leadership is defined by a rare combination of technical fluency, go-to-market rigor, and executive presence that consistently drives both top-line growth and long-term enterprise value.

From the outset of her career, Gina distinguished herself as a revenue-focused leader with a deep appreciation for how data fuels smarter decisions and stronger customer relationships. Early roles in marketing services and database-driven businesses allowed her to develop a sophisticated understanding of customer intelligence, segmentation, and analytics-powered growth. These formative experiences shaped her ability to see data not as an abstract asset, but as a powerful engine for monetization, differentiation, and sustained competitive advantage.

Gina’s tenure at Merkle marked a pivotal chapter in her professional journey. As Vice President of Business Development, she played an instrumental role in scaling the firm from approximately $25 million to more than $250 million in revenue. She was deeply involved in the creation and commercialization of DataSource, which became the largest aggregate database in the United States and the company’s flagship platform, representing the majority of Merkle’s revenue. Her work during this period demonstrated her strength in product strategy, market expansion, and enterprise sales, as well as her ability to bring complex data products to market with clarity and impact.

Her success continued at Epsilon, where she spent more than a decade as Senior Vice President of Cross-Channel Sales. During this time, Gina helped transform Epsilon into a data and technology powerhouse, contributing to enterprise value growth from roughly $450 million to over $2 billion, culminating in its $4.4 billion acquisition by Publicis. She led cross-channel and omnichannel sales strategies, integrated advanced digital media platforms, and helped create the Agility Key technology, a pioneering customer data infrastructure that enabled more agile, data-driven marketing and personalization. She also worked extensively with TargetSource, the largest compiled database in the United States, reinforcing her reputation as a leader in large-scale data monetization.

At Yes Marketing, an Infogroup subsidiary, Gina continued to refine her operational and commercial leadership. As Senior Vice President of Sales, she oversaw major platform modernization initiatives, successfully migrating enterprise clients with zero disruption while dramatically improving performance and deliverability. She also built and scaled a marketing technology consulting organization that became a significant contributor to divisional revenue, further highlighting her ability to blend sales leadership with technical execution.

Gina’s role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Infogroup USA, later rebranded as Data Axle, showcased her transformation capabilities at scale. She restructured a large enterprise sales organization into vertical-focused teams embedded with data science expertise, materially improving win rates and deal size. She also led the go-to-market strategy for the company’s cloud-native platforms, capturing significant new-logo revenue through strategic partnerships with hyperscale cloud providers and repositioning the organization for sustained growth.

In 2021, Gina joined Accenture, where she quickly emerged as a defining leader within the firm’s global technology practice. As Global Practice Leader for Commerce, Data, and AI, she held full P&L responsibility for one of Accenture’s fastest-growing businesses, leading thousands of professionals across multiple countries. She drove integrated go-to-market strategies, launched patent-pending AI solutions, and established enterprise AI adoption frameworks that were embraced by the vast majority of Fortune 500 clients. Following this success, Gina transitioned into a Luminary role, where she now advises Accenture’s most senior leaders and clients on the future of commerce, data, and AI.

Alongside her corporate leadership, Gina is highly active as a board member and strategic advisor. She currently advises Artefact on AI strategy and go-to-market execution, frequently leading GTM initiatives across retail, CPG, and financial services. She serves on the board of PayDocks, guiding AI-powered payment optimization and market expansion, and advises SixMap and Graphiant on AI-driven product strategy, cybersecurity intelligence, and enterprise market entry. Across these roles, her influence consistently centers on aligning product innovation with revenue strategy and scalable sales execution.
