Frederick P. Flores II is a transformational executive leader, strategic innovator, and manufacturing visionary with over three decades of proven success across engineering, commercialization, and global operations. His professional journey spans five continents, where he has led high-impact teams, overseen billion-dollar initiatives, and established industry benchmarks in operational excellence and product development. Whether redesigning production systems in the United States or scaling product lines internationally, Frederick’s core philosophy remains unchanged: strategic clarity, disciplined execution, and trusted leadership are the cornerstones of sustainable growth.

As the Principal Consultant and Founder of Strategic Catalyst Solutions, LLC, Frederick leverages his extensive cross-sector expertise to empower small and mid-sized businesses. His firm was born from a desire to bridge the gap between visionary thinking and tangible results; an idea rooted in decades of firsthand experience with misaligned execution strategies. Under Frederick’s leadership, the firm has become a catalyst for business transformation, known for delivering scalable consulting solutions that drive measurable impact. He coined the motto, “Creative Strategies, Transformative Results,” a fitting encapsulation of his career-long pursuit of precision and purpose.

Frederick’s leadership legacy was forged through his distinguished corporate tenure. At Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers in the U.S., he served as Senior Director of Corporate Engineering. In this role, he directed two enterprise-wide engineering teams, with strategic oversight of automation, capital projects, and plant capability upgrades across 18 manufacturing plants. His responsibilities extended to P&L accountability, large-scale mergers, and the design of a technology roadmap that supported one of the largest proposed grocery mergers in U.S. history, integrating 54 facilities under one cohesive engineering vision.

Prior to Albertsons, Frederick’s two-decade journey with Mary Kay Cosmetics marked a period of innovation and expansion. Rising to the role of Director 2, Corporate Engineering & Commercialization, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global production footprint. His leadership spanned packaging, controls, systems integration, and new product commercialization, with a portfolio of over 700 skincare and cosmetic product launches. He also drove multimillion-dollar capital investments in water purification, tank farms, and advanced processing lines, all while leading global teams in China, Brazil, and Europe.

Frederick’s early career included transformative roles with Pioneer Frozen Foods and Pioneer Flour Mills. As Director of Operations, he revitalized underperforming facilities through team restructuring, safety and process improvements, and operational streamlining. His initiatives dramatically reduced waste, improved throughput by 357%, and doubled EBITDA, all clear markers of his operational ingenuity and people-first approach.

In 2025, Frederick formalized his transition from corporate executive to strategic advisor by founding Strategic Catalyst Solutions, LLC. Through this venture, he now guides companies across pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, cosmetics, and advanced manufacturing. His services range from plant design and equipment selection to commercialization, leadership coaching, and supply chain optimization. Known for cutting through the noise, Frederick builds bespoke solutions rooted in lean principles, trust-based leadership, and enterprise visibility tools.

He is also a recognized thought leader in strategy. As co-author of the AI-assisted international bestseller Unseen to Unstoppable, Frederick has helped redefine leadership development through clarity and coaching. His insights have reached global audiences through media appearances, including upcoming features on the BIG Strategy Podcast hosted by Jeff Eyet. These platforms have positioned him as a sought-after voice on topics such as innovation, governance, and operational integrity.

Frederick holds an MBA from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University. He also holds professional credentials from the U.S. Air Force in Aircraft Systems Maintenance and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. His education, paired with deep technical acumen, enables him to move seamlessly between the shop floor and the boardroom.

Values are the cornerstone of Frederick’s leadership. He operates at the intersection of integrity, discipline, and results. For him, strategy must be more than a plan, it must be a commitment to execution. That’s why he launched his firm with a mission to help companies not only define their vision but live it daily. This mission also shapes his board readiness, where he champions governance that protects organizational presence and amplifies stakeholder value.
