    Currently serving as the Director of Athletics at Binghamton University, Marshall oversees a dynamic NCAA Division I program consisting of 21 athletic teams, 450 student-athletes, 114 employees, and a $34 million annual budget. His leadership has fostered both academic and athletic success, with Binghamton annually producing an average of 45 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA and 14 teams achieving a perfect 1,000 APR score. Under his guidance, Binghamton experienced its most team championships in the 2023-24 season since moving to Division I competition. Additionally, he successfully managed the transition of men’s and women’s tennis and golf to the Northeast Conference in 2023, further strengthening the institution’s competitive positioning. Among his many program-defining milestones, Binghamton’s women’s lacrosse team secured its first regular season and conference championship, earning its first NCAA appearance in program history. Beyond competition, Marshall spearheaded the development of Binghamton’s first Division I athletics magazine and a monthly television show, elevating the university’s brand and outreach.

    Before joining Binghamton, Marshall served as the Director of Athletics at Hampton University, where he guided the program through critical conference realignments, transitioning from the MEAC to the Big South and later to the CAA, ensuring increased exposure and financial stability. His leadership was marked by back-to-back MEAC men’s and women’s basketball championships and historic program expansions, including Hampton’s first-ever NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse program and securing a USA Women’s Triathlon Emerging Sports Grant, making Hampton the first HBCU to sponsor the sport. His tenure saw $23.6 million in new revenue, major facility investments, and a focus on student-athlete success, culminating in a 79% graduation rate.

    Marshall also played a pivotal role at Iona University, leading the athletics department to back-to-back NCAA men’s basketball tournament appearances and overseeing the most team championships in a two-year span in program history up until 2013. His commitment to winning and operational excellence further solidified Iona’s reputation as a premier mid-major athletic program.

    During his tenure at West Point (United States Military Academy), Marshall was instrumental in women’s basketball securing its first regular season and conference championship and an NCAA tournament appearance in the Division I era in 2006. His leadership extended to numerous championship victories across men’s and women’s tennis, ice hockey, men’s lacrosse, baseball, women’s soccer, track and field, and women’s volleyball. Additionally, he showcased his versatility as a radio broadcaster for the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

    At Ramapo College, Marshall cultivated a winning culture both academically and athletically, leading programs to regular season and conference championships in baseball, softball, men’s basketball, track and field, and men’s volleyball. His holistic approach to program development emphasized both competitive success and student-athlete development.

    Beyond his collegiate athletics career, Marshall honed his business acumen at IBM, where he developed expertise in financial forecasting, customer service, and operational administration. His corporate background, combined with his deep knowledge of collegiate athletics, has enabled him to drive sustainable growth and innovation across every institution he has served.

    A respected figure in intercollegiate athletics, Marshall is an active member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and has received numerous accolades, including the National Football Foundation’s Outstanding Deputy Athletic Director Award and the Congressional Black Caucus Congressional Recognition Award.
