Clint Kruse is a seasoned financial services executive whose career has been defined by an unwavering commitment to building relationships, expanding market opportunities, and driving sustainable growth within the asset management industry. With more than 27 years of executive experience spanning asset management, wealth management, national accounts, product management, marketing, and distribution leadership, Clint has established himself as a trusted business builder who understands how to connect innovative investment solutions with the advisors, institutions, and investors who need them most. His professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that success is created through visibility, collaboration, and meaningful relationships, making him an influential leader who consistently delivers measurable business results while cultivating long-term partnerships.

Throughout his career, Clint has successfully navigated nearly every aspect of the investment management ecosystem. His experience includes leadership roles across national accounts, sales management, product marketing, due diligence, relationship management, and executive leadership, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of how investment firms grow from emerging organizations into established industry leaders. Equally comfortable working with boutique firms and global financial institutions, he has built a reputation for identifying opportunities that increase assets under management, improve organizational performance, and strengthen strategic partnerships. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, adaptability, and collaboration while empowering teams to exceed ambitious goals.

Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Corgi Funds, Clint continues to leverage his extensive background in financial services to strengthen client relationships and expand business development initiatives. Prior to joining Corgi Funds, he served as Head of Distribution and National Accounts for Cambria Investment Management, where he became the company’s first executive dedicated to launching its third-party distribution platform. During his tenure, Cambria’s assets under management grew from approximately $669 million to nearly $2.9 billion, reflecting both market success and Clint’s ability to build high-performing distribution channels. In addition to leading teams of internal and external wholesalers, he also assumed responsibility for product marketing, product management, request-for-proposal development, and due diligence, demonstrating exceptional versatility as an executive leader.

Before Cambria, Clint spent seven years with Longboard Asset Management as Head of National Accounts and Due Diligence Manager. Tasked with introducing a growing investment firm to major distribution platforms, he successfully established institutional shelf space while generating approximately $1.4 billion in gross sales across two liquid alternative investment strategies. Beyond sales production, he played an instrumental role in evaluating acquisition opportunities and supporting merger initiatives designed to expand assets under management and strengthen the firm’s competitive position. His ability to combine strategic planning with disciplined execution helped position Longboard as a respected participant within the alternative investment marketplace.

Earlier in his career, Clint served as Senior National Accounts Manager for RS Funds, now Victory Capital, where he became known for developing innovative sales enablement tools that improved productivity across the organization’s distribution teams. He created Firm Snapshots, Product Dashboards, strategist reports, sales intelligence resources, and numerous reporting tools that enabled wholesalers and senior management to make better-informed business decisions. Entrusted with managing many of the firm’s most important distribution relationships—including Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Advisors, Raymond James, Cetera, and Ameriprise—Clint consistently delivered strong sales performance while strengthening strategic partnerships throughout changing market environments.

Clint’s leadership foundation was further developed during his tenure with Ivy Funds, now Macquarie Asset Management. Promoted to Director during his time with the organization, he contributed to one of the industry’s fastest-growing mutual fund companies as firm assets expanded from approximately $2 billion to more than $33 billion. Working alongside some of the financial industry’s most accomplished executives, he helped strengthen relationships with leading brokerage firms including Smith Barney, Wachovia, AG Edwards, LPL Financial, and Raymond James. His earlier experience with ING Funds, now Voya, provided valuable exposure to product management, internal wholesaling, and external wholesaling, allowing him to develop an exceptionally well-rounded understanding of investment product distribution from multiple perspectives.

A graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Clint has continually invested in his professional development through multiple FINRA licenses, including Series 7 and Series 63, while previously holding Series 3, 4, and 24 registrations. His technical expertise includes Salesforce, HubSpot, Morningstar Direct, Broadridge, Dakota, Discovery Data, Microsoft Office, and numerous financial technology platforms that support distribution, client engagement, and investment research. More importantly, he complements technical knowledge with exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling him to build trusted relationships with executives, advisors, wholesalers, and institutional decision-makers across the financial services industry.

Outside of his executive responsibilities, Clint enjoys hiking, golfing, and exploring developments within cryptocurrency and emerging financial technologies. He has contributed to asset management publications through collaborative article development and has participated in televised interviews with NBC and Bloomberg discussing financial markets and investment-related topics. His international business experience includes managing and distributing investment products throughout Europe, giving him valuable insight into global markets and cross-border business relationships. His volunteer involvement with honor societies and youth sports organizations reflects his belief that leadership extends beyond business and into community service.

Today, Clint is actively pursuing corporate board opportunities where his extensive experience across financial services, asset management, venture capital, private equity, credit markets, sales leadership, and strategic growth can provide meaningful value to organizations. He believes companies of every size benefit from leaders who understand both the strategic vision and operational realities required to achieve long-term success. Having worked across organizations ranging from emerging investment firms to established industry leaders, Clint brings a balanced perspective, deep industry relationships, and a collaborative leadership style that positions him to contribute immediately in the boardroom.
