“The Sky Is the Limit.”

Chloe Reid is an accomplished senior executive, strategist, and mission-driven leader whose distinguished 35-year career reflects a deep commitment to expanding educational opportunity, strengthening communities, and advancing organizational excellence across the nonprofit and higher education sectors. Guided by her personal ethos, “The sky is the limit,” she has consistently elevated institutions through visionary leadership, transformational fundraising, and a steadfast dedication to improving the lives of students, families, and communities.

Across every chapter of her professional journey, Chloe has demonstrated a remarkable ability to align institutional goals with the needs of diverse stakeholders. Her career began in the world of law school admissions and student services, where she quickly earned a reputation for her thoughtful approach to student development, her devotion to equitable access, and her instinctive strength in guiding individuals through pivotal personal and academic decisions. Her early roles at Whittier Law School and the Law School Admission Council laid the groundwork for a leadership style rooted in compassion, fairness, and operational clarity.

Her ascent into executive leadership accelerated at Antioch University Southern California, where she served first as Executive Dean and later as Interim President, leading two campuses, 120 employees, and a $13 million budget. In these roles, she supervised academic operations, student services, financial aid, human resources, IT, and facilities, as well as auxiliary enterprises. Chloe’s leadership was particularly notable for her ability to build diverse, high-performing teams while stabilizing institutional functions during periods of change and challenge. Her sound judgment and strategic foresight made her a trusted steward of the university’s long-term goals and a respected voice across the Antioch system.

In 2006, Chloe joined the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law as Associate Dean and Dean of Admissions, where she transformed the school’s enrollment strategy over a decade of service. Leading a team responsible for evaluating over 5,500 applicants annually, she upheld exceptional academic standards—maintaining a median LSAT of 166 and a 3.75 GPA—even as national law school applications declined by more than a third. She modernized admissions operations, digitized application processing, integrated social media into recruitment, and designed large-scale events that strengthened the school’s brand and community presence. Her commitment to DEI was reflected in her consistent enrollment of some of the most ethnically diverse classes among the nation’s top 20 law schools.

Chloe’s next chapter at USC Gould built on her fundraising and relationship-building strengths as she transitioned into development leadership. Rising from Director of Development to Senior Director of Development, she created strategies that secured five-, six-, and seven-figure major gifts from individual donors nationwide. She developed and managed a portfolio of more than 115 prospects and raised more than $15 million in a five-year period, directly supporting student scholarships, targeted initiatives, and capital projects. Her ability to cultivate meaningful donor relationships, engage alumni, and articulate institutional vision made her a cornerstone of the school’s advancement efforts.

One of her signature achievements was the creation of USC Gould’s planned giving program, which she built from the ground up. This initiative included the development of a new website, branding materials, donor stories, and recognition society—an enduring contribution to the school’s long-term philanthropic health. Her finesse in translating complex donor motivations into impactful giving opportunities showcases her strength not only as a fundraiser, but as a strategic communicator and empathetic listener.

Beyond her executive roles, Chloe has consistently dedicated her expertise to service on nonprofit and educational boards. She served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Rolling Hills Preparatory and Renaissance Schools, contributed to the boards of Goddard College and SoLa I CAN Foundation, and held leadership roles in Jack and Jill of America’s South Los Angeles chapter. Her board service reflects a deep commitment to children, families, and educational advancement, and she approaches governance with the same intentionality and integrity that define her professional leadership.

Chloe’s influence also extends into public speaking, mentorship, and national conference engagement. She has delivered keynote speeches, served on panels, presented at academic and professional conferences, and spoken on topics ranging from admissions best practices to diversity, professionalism, and pathways to law school. Her presence in these spaces reflects both her expertise and her passion for empowering others through shared knowledge.

At the heart of Chloe’s career is a profound loyalty to the institutions and communities she serves. She approaches every responsibility with humility, purpose, and a genuine desire to leave organizations stronger than she found them. Her leadership is characterized by a blend of strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and unwavering commitment—qualities that make her a valued advisor, trusted colleague, and impactful board candidate.

Chloe follows through on every commitment with a level of dedication that reflects her belief in meaningful, long-term engagement. Whether leading teams of 40+, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, or guiding institutions through pivotal transitions, she brings an intentional, “all-in” approach to achieving positive outcomes.
