Brian Beaumont’s career is a testament to the power of vision, adaptability, and unwavering dedication to excellence. With more than forty years of leadership experience across nonprofit, corporate, and entrepreneurial landscapes, he has mastered the art of guiding organizations through transformation, growth, and innovation. His journey reflects a rare combination of operational expertise, strategic foresight, and a deeply held belief in building strong, resilient teams that deliver measurable impact.

Brian began his professional path after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication from California State University, Northridge, followed by an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. Working full-time while pursuing his graduate degree, he cultivated a work ethic defined by perseverance and an ability to lead in high-pressure environments. This academic and professional foundation would serve as the launchpad for a career that spanned multiple industries, continents, and leadership challenges.

His early years in business management quickly revealed his talent for aligning financial systems, technology, and operational efficiency. As Business Manager for McKay & Gaitán LLP, he managed both a progressive law firm and an innovative co-working space well ahead of its time, demonstrating his instinct for recognizing emerging trends and building sustainable operational models. That experience set the stage for a series of increasingly complex leadership roles where his skill in strategic planning and organizational restructuring became his hallmark.

Brian’s impact deepened when he assumed the role of Director of Finance for Williams Kastner PLLC, a leading Seattle law firm. There, he led the first-ever successful CMS Open financial software conversion to Microsoft NT and SQL Server platforms, a landmark achievement that positioned the firm ahead of its competitors. This success drew the attention of Aderant (then Solution 6 / CMS Data), where he became Senior Project Manager and Profitability Consultant, delivering over a dozen successful financial software conversions and profitability modeling projects for professional service firms across the United States and the United Kingdom.

His trajectory into senior executive leadership accelerated with his tenure as Technology Director for Paul Allen’s Experience Music Project & Experience Learning Community, now known as MoPOP. Overseeing complex, one-of-a-kind technology systems for a $250 million cultural institution, Brian not only stabilized failing application systems but also secured over $1 million in in-kind donations of technology and musical equipment. His leadership bridged creativity and operational rigor, proving that technical excellence and mission-driven initiatives can coexist in harmony.

Brian’s seven-year chapter at K&L Gates, one of the world’s top law firms, cemented his reputation as a master of financial strategy. As Firmwide Director of Budgeting and Strategic Financial Planning, he guided the firm’s global budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis through the turbulent years of the Great Recession. His work contributed to K&L Gates being ranked first in financial performance among global law firms by The American Lawyer, a distinction that underscored his ability to navigate uncertainty with precision and foresight.

In 2012, Brian joined Touch Worldwide, a creative communications agency, where his leadership as Executive Director spanned finance, operations, HR, technology, and legal affairs. He steered the agency through a successful 90% buyout, reversed a significant liability into a million-dollar asset, and piloted the company to one of its most profitable years despite pandemic-related revenue loss. His early adoption of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives—years before they became industry-wide priorities—demonstrated his capacity to lead with both business acumen and social responsibility.

Brian’s passion for mentorship and strategic problem-solving led him to serve as a Practice Management Advisor for How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm, where he guided more than twenty firms to align their operations with personal, professional, and financial goals. Most recently, as Director of Business for Seattle Social Services at The Salvation Army, he oversaw finance, facilities, and administration for a $25 million+ homeless services agency. Within his first year, he consolidated programs to save over $1 million annually, increased government funding utilization by $2 million, and implemented a long-delayed diversity and inclusion plan. His work directly supported life-saving services for the city’s most vulnerable residents.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian’s life is deeply rooted in service and community. An Eagle Scout and active volunteer with Scouting America, The Salvation Army Northwest Division, and his local Presbyterian church, he has dedicated decades to mentoring youth, supporting humanitarian relief, and strengthening community institutions. His personal passions—restoring a 120-year-old home, growing hops, and enjoying the outdoors—reflect the same patience, creativity, and care that define his leadership style.

Today, as a board member for 501 Commons and a seasoned executive with experience from start-ups to billion-dollar organizations, Brian continues to apply his wealth of knowledge to initiatives that align with his values: empowering people, driving innovation, and delivering measurable results. His journey is not one of retirement but of purposeful reinvention, seeking opportunities where his experience can shape the next generation of leaders.

He consistently translates complex challenges into actionable solutions that drive measurable success. Strategic:
Brian’s career is defined by his ability to envision the future and chart a path to achieve it.
