Currently, Bill serves as the Executive Vice President of Partnerships & Platform Integrations at ARC Fertility, a leading provider of fertility and comprehensive women’s health benefits to employers in North America directly and with the help of the largest employee benefits brokers in North America. In this role, he collaborates with employee benefit brokerage firms, account executives, population health management experts and senior level executives of key and jumbo employer clients and prospects to help employers expand access to fertility and women’s healthcare benefits that help employees with infertility challenges build the families of their dreams. His responsibilities include leading the team that creates seamless integrations between ARC’s award-winning solution and platform with all major HR & payroll platforms, benefits administration platforms and health plan & TPA platforms. Under his leadership ARC created its successful employer program and brokerage distribution channel, healthcare & TPA partnerships as ARC has engaged with 1.4 million individuals and helped more than 80,000 individuals and couples form the families of their dreams.
Prior to ARC Fertility, Bill held key leadership roles at MeetCaregivers, where he developed the employer program distribution & partnership strategy & the health plan partnership strategy and Go to Market strategy which he then helped successfully execute by pitching with the founder and signing the first ever partnership agreements with Medicare Advantage health plans and other distribution partners. Meet Caregivers mission is to provide world class in-home care to seniors, the disabled, veterans and others in need most of which is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, DSNIPs or veterans benefits. Bill’s experience working with health plans on product design, building caregiver networks, platform development and partnership agreements led to collaboration with cross functional teams within health plans resulting in innovative benefit designs aligned with the covered services offered by five national health plans that partnered with MeetCaregivers and used MeetCaregivers network of providers to provide in-home care to members throughout the US.
Bill’s expertise in digital insurance solutions helped PAI Health, of Vancouver Canada, successfully enter the US and Canadian markets as well as Europe, Central America and South America through the strategic collaboration he developed with the senior executives of one of the world’s largest global reinsurer. Bill helped the CEO of PAI Health obtain $9M in funding from a publicly traded company and then led the effort that resulted in a Global Exclusive Product Development, Sales & Marketing Agreement with one of the world’s largest global reinsurers to undertake research pilots designed to lead to commercial solutions including innovative new biometric health data and insights obtained from smart watches and incorporated into the design of individual and group life insurance & group wellness products and solutions.
As a former Director of Business Development at LIMRA, Bill helped design and implement Tableau based benchmarking dashboards as SaaS-based solutions for major life, annuity, and group insurance carriers in North America. His contributions led to the successful launch of new SaaS based platform subscription services licensed by hundreds of insurance carriers in the US and Canada generating $4m in revenue for LIMRA over five years.
Bill was the co-founder, Vice President and bootstrapper of Information Products, Inc. which he helped lead for 17 years before his successful exit. Bill designed and led the development of one of the world’s first SaaS-based online benefits enrollment platforms adopted by large employers in the US and integrated with ADP, Ceridien, Paychex, SAP, PeopleSoft, Lawson, JD Edwards and most major health plans. IPI’s innovative multilingual benefits enrollment platform administered millions of secure benefit elections and health plan enrollments for employees and employees throughout the US. Bill’s entrepreneurial nature, desire to create and innovate, subject matter expertise and ability to identify commercially viable market needs and create and execute successful Go To Market Strategies make him a unique asset at the forefront of innovation of the insurance industry, employer sponsored benefit plan designs, solutions, employee engagement and benefits administration.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bill has dedicated his time to numerous board and advisory roles, demonstrating his commitment to innovation and leadership in the insurance sector. He is a member of the Connecticut Insurance Department Advisory Panel on Innovation, where he advises insurance regulators on regulations that protect consumers while allowing innovative collaboration between insurers, InsurTech & HealthTech firms. Bill also serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of CT, helping guide the organization’s strategy and governance promoting innovative educational opportunities for disadvantaged school children.
Bill enjoys civic engagement and volunteering for non-profits in his community having served as treasurer for Ducks Unlimited in Connecticut for 20 years, the largest nonprofit conservation organization in North America. His stewardship helped advance the organization’s mission of preserving wetlands and wildlife habitats. He was also a board member of the City of New Britain Board of Finance & Taxation, playing a key role in creating the $220 million budget for the city and its public school system.
His passion for mentoring and youth development is evident in his volunteer work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, where he mentored disadvantaged youth, and as a youth baseball coach for the Police Athletic League and Little League International. Through these programs, Bill instilled discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills in young athletes, reinforcing the values of hard work and community engagement.
With a B.S. in Finance and a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Central Connecticut State University, Bill combines business acumen & technical expertise & user experience to create commercially successful products & solutions.
