During his tenure, he became one of the industry’s leading owner-side construction executives, directing the planning, execution, and delivery of technically demanding life science, healthcare, corporate, and institutional developments across multiple U.S. markets. Under his leadership, Alexandria successfully delivered more than $6 billion in projects totaling approximately 6.4 million square feet, including landmark facilities for globally recognized organizations such as Moderna, Eli Lilly, Biogen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Sanofi Genzyme, Meta, IBM, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Managing annual construction programs exceeding $250 million, Andy became known for his ability to coordinate complex stakeholder environments involving architects, engineers, contractors, leasing teams, legal counsel, underwriting professionals, sustainability specialists, security experts, IT professionals, and executive leadership. As Development Manager with Lyme Properties, he directed ground-up developments and major redevelopment initiatives while overseeing consultant coordination, tenant integration, construction execution, and stabilized asset management. His subsequent roles with O’Neill Properties Group, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, and Baker Concrete Construction provided valuable hands-on experience managing institutional, healthcare, commercial, infrastructure, and mixed-use projects. These progressively responsible positions allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of construction operations from the field level through executive ownership, giving him a unique perspective that bridges strategic decision-making with practical project execution.
A graduate of Cornell University, Andy earned both a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering, providing the technical foundation that has supported his executive success.
