With a strong ability to drive business transformations, lead turnarounds, and execute strategic growth initiatives, Adrian has played a pivotal role in helping companies expand, innovate, and thrive in competitive markets.
Most recently, Adrian served as vice president of strategy, mergers, and acquisitions at Infineon Technologies, following Infineon’s successful $10 billion acquisition of Cypress Semiconductor in 2020. In this role, he is responsible for driving corporate growth initiatives, investment strategies, and M&A execution to strengthen Infineon’s market position. Prior to that, he was vice president of strategy at Cypress Semiconductor, where he helped transition the company from an $800 million memory-focused business into a $2.5 billion system solutions leader. In this time, Cypress executed two transformational acquisitions—Spansion in 2015 and Broadcom’s IoT business in 2016, significantly expanding its footprint in automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. He also drove the definition of the automotive Traveo-II product family, which has since secured a $6 billion pipeline.
Previously, Adrian was director of strategic marketing at Atmel, where he led the maXFusion sensor fusion product launch, generating over $100 million in its first production year. He also redefined the company’s mixed-signal business, pivoting toward the high-growth LED lighting market following the acquisition of mSilica to enhance Atmel’s analog power and driver IP capabilities.
Earlier in his career, Adrian served as vice president of sales, marketing, and business development at LV Sensors, where he led the company’s expansion from a single-customer proof of concept to securing major contracts with Ford, GM, BMW, and Hyundai. His success in positioning the company in the high-growth tire pressure sensor sector ultimately led to its acquisition by Atmel. As chief marketing officer at Tropian, he secured over $14 million in funding, built strategic alliances with Panasonic and Samsung, and facilitated Tropian’s acquisition by Panasonic, where the team was integrated as Panasonic’s advanced RF R&D center in San Jose.
Adrian also has significant experience in strategic consulting, working with leading technology firms on market strategies, investment decisions, and product development roadmaps. His previous roles at National Semiconductor included leading global strategic marketing initiatives for the wireless division, where he helped drive the commercialization of Bluetooth solutions, extended the RF components business, and secured two strategic investments in early-stage technology startups.
With extensive international business experience across China, Germany, the UK, and various European markets, Adrian has been a featured speaker at industry events in China, Hong Kong, and Europe, sharing insights on global strategy, business growth, and technology innovation.
