Adam Fitch is a globally seasoned Chief Operating Officer and logistics strategist with over 42 years of leadership experience spanning six continents and some of the world’s most challenging operational landscapes. With a career rooted in high-impact industries such as oil and gas, offshore engineering, and maritime logistics, Adam has earned a reputation for orchestrating transformative supply chain and operational strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and create long-term value. His professional mantra centers around solving complex problems through strategic execution and leading with clarity, structure, and an unshakeable commitment to safety and performance.

Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at MedservRegis plc, Adam oversees the company’s integrated logistics services across its global operations. In this role, he drives strategic alignment across logistics, operations management, and infrastructure execution, ensuring that the company’s services are consistently optimized for performance, safety, and responsiveness. His hybrid leadership model blends remote coordination with hands-on site engagement, demonstrating his dedication to both strategic oversight and ground-level excellence.

Adam’s career has taken him from the deserts of the Middle East to the maritime routes of Australia and the industrial corridors of Europe. Prior to his role at MedservRegis, he served as Head of Logistics Resource Delivery and Engineering at Eni, where he was seconded to the North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) in Kazakhstan. There, he led future logistics strategy for major oil field developments, executed feasibility studies for supply base changes amid falling sea levels, and crafted contract frameworks for critical dredging operations. His impact was instrumental in laying the groundwork for safe, scalable offshore operations.

Earlier, as Logistics Manager at IEOC in Egypt, Adam steered national logistics during the tumultuous COVID-19 period. He initiated a series of resource and process optimizations—from warehouse consolidation and fleet modernization to manpower efficiencies—that resulted in measurable cost reductions and performance gains. He also improved marine base operations, implementing a risk-aversion culture that reshaped safety and accountability protocols across the organization.

Adam has also held numerous other senior logistics leadership roles with companies such as ADNOC, Eni Portugal, Eni Australia, and Agip KCO. He managed fleets of helicopters, ships, vehicles, and infrastructure assets in harsh offshore and onshore environments. His leadership in the Caspian Sea project as Head of Marine Logistics involved coordinating over 70 vessels and 150 subcontracted marine services, demonstrating his capability to operate large-scale logistical systems under intense regulatory, environmental, and geopolitical conditions.

Adam began his professional journey as a ship’s captain/master, serving in the merchant marine for 19 years. This foundational experience was pivotal in shaping his approach to management, motivation, and leadership. Following this period, he deepened his understanding of remote leadership and operational safety management during nearly four years as a Fleet Safety Officer for Vela International Marine Limited, a subsidiary of Aramco. In this role, he oversaw health, safety, and environmental (HSE) responsibilities across 26 vessels, mastering the intricacies of remote leadership long before today’s advanced connectivity.

Adam holds a Master’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain from the University of Salford and a Master’s in Nautical Sciences from South Tyneside Marine and Technical College, where he graduated with distinction. He also holds a Ship Master’s License, further solidifying his technical and leadership expertise in maritime operations.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Adam is a passionate advocate for operational excellence and workplace safety. He has delivered speaking engagements on safety and logistics in international forums and is known for mentoring emerging leaders within his teams. He continues to champion the importance of cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and resilience in the face of complex logistical challenges.

Now entering a new phase of his career, Adam is seeking opportunities to serve on boards where he can contribute his extensive knowledge, operational foresight, and passion for continuous improvement.
