Michael Costa is a seasoned aerospace engineer whose career spans over three decades of groundbreaking contributions to the U.S. Government, military, and leading aerospace organizations. Currently serving as an Industrial Engineer III at Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Michael supports critical programs such as AWACS, Apache, F-15, and KC-46 Tanker, as well as Boeing's commercial ventures like the 777X. His expertise extends beyond aerospace, encompassing information technology, data analytics, AI/ML, and advanced manufacturing. Michael’s innovative leadership has driven cost-saving initiatives, enhanced production systems, and enabled technological breakthroughs. Recognized for his versatility, he has contributed to diverse fields including precision medicine, health informatics, and space systems engineering. I'm excited to share my professional journey with you all! With over 35 years of experience in the U.S. Air Force, I've specialized in aerospace propulsion, logistics, and systems engineering. I've had the privilege of leading critical programs like the KC-46 Tanker Program and developing innovative tools such as the Engine Rotor Stacking and Balance System (ESRBS). My career has been driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for mentoring and problem-solving in high-stakes environments. I’m guided by the principle, "Treat others the way you want to be treated," and I'm enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my skills and experiences to new challenges in the aerospace industry and beyond.
