Renowned for his ability to lead complex supply chain organizations through large-scale transformation, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, Rob brings a rare combination of operational precision and strategic vision that has consistently delivered measurable value across the aerospace, defense, commercial aviation, and telecommunications sectors.
Most recently serving as Vice President of Corporate Supply Chain at V2X—a $4.2B publicly traded diversified defense services company—Rob oversaw a $2.3B material and services spend portfolio. He led a matrixed team of 43 professionals and was responsible for an enterprise-wide supply chain operation that included global procurement, category management, subcontracts, compliance, data analytics, business development, and SIOP. His leadership during the Vertex and Vectrus merger was instrumental in harmonizing five decentralized organizations, integrating 26 core business applications, consolidating over 2,500 standard operating procedures, and aligning 400+ corporate agreements—all while maintaining business continuity and accelerating post-merger growth.
Rob has a proven track record of operational excellence and cost optimization. He extracted over $11 million in operating expenses by renegotiating supplier agreements and streamlining procurement processes. Additionally, he spearheaded the launch of a data analytics and digital transformation function within the supply chain, leading to the successful development of enterprise dashboards and standardized KPIs using Microsoft Power BI.
His career has included senior leadership roles at L3 Technologies (Vertex Aerospace), DynCorp International, and Rockwell Collins, where he built and scaled supply chain operations that supported global MRO, logistics, and manufacturing functions. He has supported international engagements across Europe, Asia, Southwest Asia, and Central and South America. Throughout his career, Rob has demonstrated deep compliance knowledge with FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations, and has successfully led organizations through more than 15 government audits.
Rob is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served during Desert Storm in Special Weapons, Nuclear Assurance, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal. His military experience instilled the leadership, discipline, and mission-first mindset that continue to define his executive approach today.
In addition to his operational career, Rob is a passionate advocate for talent development and succession planning. He has consistently built high-performing teams and mentored emerging leaders who have gone on to take on greater responsibility across the organizations he’s served. He is also an active member of APICS, ISM, NCMA, and AOPA, and is a licensed private pilot.
Rob earned both his Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degrees in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
