Timothy Branigin | Growth-Focused Commercial Executive | SaaS, Data & Market Intelligence Leader

Timothy Branigin is a seasoned commercial executive with over two decades of proven success in driving revenue, scaling go-to-market functions, and building high-performing teams in SaaS, market research, and data-as-a-service (DaaS) businesses. With 22 years of experience—most notably a 15-year tenure at Numerator—Timothy has become a trusted leader in growth-stage and private equity-backed companies across a wide range of industries including financial services, consumer packaged goods (CPG), durable goods, media, and market intelligence.

Known for his ability to launch, lead, and scale business verticals from inception to maturity, Timothy played a pivotal role in growing Numerator’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) from $18 million to over $262 million. He was instrumental in leading Numerator’s new business efforts during a critical phase of growth—from $50MM to $100MM in ARR—and personally spearheaded the launch and expansion of multiple verticals, including the General Merchandise & Media and eCommerce Pricing Intelligence teams, each of which exceeded $35MM in ARR under his leadership.

Timothy’s strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and client-first mindset have earned him numerous accolades throughout his career, including multiple “Sales Executive of the Year” honors and consistent recognition for leading top-performing teams. He has secured and grown partnerships with some of the world’s most recognizable brands, such as Amazon, Google, Disney, Nike, Apple, and Samsung, helping clients unlock the value of data and consumer insights to drive measurable business outcomes.

Timothy has also been deeply involved in the strategic evolution of the businesses he has served, participating in four successful private equity transactions, including active roles on the deal team for the last three—culminating in a $1.5B+ transaction with Bain Capital. His ability to bridge commercial strategy with investment readiness makes him uniquely qualified for advisory and board roles, particularly with companies navigating transformational growth or preparing for capital events.

He began his career in sales with Cintas Corporation and later the Corporate Executive Board (now part of Gartner Group), where he was a two-time President’s Circle recipient and earned firm-wide honors for leadership excellence. Timothy is a graduate of Indiana University, where he studied Political Science and Economics.

With extensive experience operating in high-growth environments under $200MM ARR, Timothy is now focused on sharing his commercial leadership expertise with growth-stage businesses and boards. He brings a unique blend of operator experience, private equity insight, and market-driven strategy that enables him to add immediate value in advisory, consulting, and governance roles.

Currently based in Chicago and open to remote engagements, Timothy is seeking board and advisory opportunities where he can contribute to strategic growth initiatives, GTM optimization, and overall commercial excellence.
