His leadership extends to chairing Celco Inc., a foodservice equipment wholesaler, and Rent-a-Son Inc., a moving business, where he has steered strategic expansions and product launches. Much of Mr. Nash’s professional journey was with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and its group of companies, where he spent nearly two decades in progressively senior roles. As Managing Director and Head of Corporate Development, he led transformative initiatives, including strategic acquisitions and divestitures worth $2.5 billion and the development of a growth strategy for CIBC’s U.S. expansion. While simultaneously leading Merchant Banking, he was responsible for a $1.8 billion portfolio and led $1.3 billion of new investments. During his tenure as Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at CIBC World Markets, Mr. Nash’s team executed over 250 announced transactions valued at more than $225 billion, earning multiple industry accolades.  Earlier work included almost three years as a management consultant with Arthur D. Little, focused on strategic and organizational assignments for industrial-products and financial-services businesses.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Mr. Nash is the founder and Managing Director of Nash & Company Capital Managers, an investment firm focused on acquiring and developing small businesses.
