Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of AmbaTech LLC in the United States and Managing Director of AmbalSoft InfoTech Private Limited in India, Sivakumar leads organizations dedicated to developing world-class medical imaging software and healthcare technology solutions. Under his leadership, the company has established itself as an internationally respected medical software organization, earning ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications while delivering FDA-registered and CE-certified products. Today, the organization supports more than 18,000 installations across over 60 countries, providing healthcare professionals with reliable imaging, integration, and diagnostic software solutions that improve both operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
Sivakumar has devoted much of his career to creating niche software products specifically designed for the medical industry. Recognizing that healthcare presents unique technical and regulatory challenges, he has focused on developing customized solutions for specialties including endoscopy, laparoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ophthalmology, ENT, and numerous additional medical disciplines. Through AmbaTech, he has also expanded into medical ICT integration services, helping hospitals seamlessly connect Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and customized healthcare applications to create more efficient clinical environments.

Throughout his career, Sivakumar has mastered C++, C#, .NET, COM technologies, MATLAB, SQL Server, Microsoft Project, software architecture, algorithm development, system integration, and project management. Equally comfortable leading engineering teams and engaging executive stakeholders, he has consistently delivered complex research and development initiatives from concept through commercialization while maintaining exceptional standards for quality, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to founding AmbalSoft and AmbaTech, Sivakumar co-founded NTier Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he served as both technical and operations leader for more than eight years. During this period, he successfully managed software development programs, customer engagements, business planning, technical architecture, release management, team building, and international client relationships. His entrepreneurial mindset and operational leadership enabled the company to execute numerous successful projects while establishing repeatable development processes and cultivating highly effective technical teams.
Earlier in his career, Sivakumar contributed to the development of several groundbreaking ophthalmic imaging products while consulting with Carl Zeiss Meditec, participating in projects including STRATUS OCT, OCT3, VISANTE, and ENSEMBLE. These experiences provided invaluable insight into the development of sophisticated medical devices, advanced imaging systems, and globally recognized healthcare technologies. His earlier engineering work with Qmax Test Equipments further strengthened his expertise in research and development, embedded technologies, precision engineering, and product innovation.
