Before joining Flagship Pioneering, Rupert served as Executive Vice President and President of Research for Bristol Myers Squibb following its acquisition of Celgene. In this highly visible executive role, he directed one of the largest pharmaceutical research organizations in the world, overseeing scientific programs from early discovery through proof-of-concept clinical development across numerous therapeutic areas.
